I looked up the missing two and it appears he indeed is the 16th conqueror.
Woah there. He's got no films up. No proof.
Since when did the rules change? I am not a fan of this idea...
EDIT: Not that I doubt Pahat's ability to complete Mythic on Reach, but we can't go making exceptions now.
Since when do you need films? Game stats have always been the links provided for proof.
I thought since... forever?
At least when it became 'Mythic.' Game Stats only prove its LASO and are completely and utterly susceptible to the Iron Save & quit work-a-round. Which really removes half the difficulty.
I was under the impression that you needed stats links WITH attached films. Why else would there be a requirement to have a film uploaded and linked to stats to get into the group? And surely getting on the list demands more thorough checking?
Let me illustrate the problem if you don't understand:
Nightfall Stats one.
Nightfall Stats two.
What is the difference?
Well. One has a film attached, and other other doesn't. Thats fairly obvious. Anything else?
Well, the second one (without the film) isn't a legitimate completion. I resumed from a checkpoint just before the bridge in powerhouse, killed some dudes, went through the gate and then waited around for a couple of minutes to make the time look legit.
This exploit has been around since Halo 3. I thought thats why 'Mythic' required no saving and quitting and required full level films as proof that you didn't.
I understand the conundrum. But honestly, has Tyrant gone through every Conqueror's File Share and watched all 9 videos just to make sure they were done legit? I don't believe so.
The Mythic Community runs on an honor code. If someone cheats their way onto the list without doing mythic legit, I feel sorry for them for wasting their time. The game stats might provide key information like key enemies that had to be killed at all checkpoints, but you are correct that it is not foolproof.
