Here is my Mythic New Alexandria film.
Let me guide you through it:
First things first; get comfortable with the Falcon on lower difficulties (like Legendary!). Specifically: not getting shot by the Banshees. The majority of your time on this level will be spent navigating the skies, while simultaneously defending your self from endless (yes, they are infinite) waves of Banshees patrolling the city.
A few tips: As always, distance is the best barrier you can put between yourself and the banshees. Beyond a certain distance (i guess 200m) they simply won't shoot. Slightly closer, they will shoot, but its highly inaccurate. When they get within a threat range, you start needing to do some fancy stuff. Bank hard to the left or right (depending upon if you're slightly to their left or right already) and climb or descend (depending upon if you're slightly above or below them already) to throw off their aim and circling around them. Generally they won't turn as fast as you can bank, so you'll get some breathing space. Of course, lay into them with your main gun as much as possible as soon as you see them.
When your gunners get close enough to see/hit the banshees, they're actually pretty efficient at taking them down. So try to face enemies as much as possible to give your gunners a shot on them.
When flying aroud, with cloud/blind on, your gunners are your immediate vincinity peripheral vision. You should always be actively scanning the skies for signs of incoming Banshees, but should you miss one, their fire will give you a couple of seconds early warning before you really start to get messed up by the Banshees.
Many of the rooftops have Shades planted on them, so be wary about gaining altitude (just above the height of a rooftop) in close proximity to a building. They're static though, with slow projectiles, which have limited range, so as long as you stay aware, they shouldn't be too much trouble. Banking left or right while backing up should keep you from getting hit.
Phantoms usually fly around at pretty low altitudes through the city, and they just go from A to B, they're not interested in you, so you shouldn't really be worried about them at all.
Ok, so there are 3 main jammers you have to take out: The Hospital, Sinoviet Industries (Reflection/Ivory Tower) and the Vyrant Tower(Club Errera).
Theres a peice of equipment in SinoViet that'll make the other two a lot easier: Active Camo. But, since these are random, we'd have to be pretty lucky to get that first.
Don't worry, we'll make ourselves lucky.
Load the level, get in your Falcon, fly around for a bit, and when the first Jammer dialogue hits, listen for 'Mayday, Mayday.' If you hear that, you're good to go: head straight for Sinoviet Industries.
If not, hit start and save and quit. Reset it to the start of the level and try again until you get SinoViet Industries first.
Simples.
Approaching SinoViet, most people think you have to take out the shades and land on the South landing pad, then make your way up the series of stairs to the elevator taking out a bunch of bad guys. HA! Those people are newbs!
Approach the building from the North-East corner. Around the level of the landing pad, and look up. You should see some beams connecting the stair assembly to an outer structure that encloses the elevator and stairway area. Between the most Northern beam and the circular enclosure structure, there is more than enough space to fly your Falcon straight up into the stair way area. Rain death from above!
Your first target should be the Focus Rifle Jackal to the left and one terrace down from where you've just come up. He's the only one (usually) competant enough to actually still hit you. Once he's down, just clean up the rest of the enemies, and land right in front of the elevator.
Remember which one you take up, this'll be the same one you'll be taking down (though, you don't have to, you can call the other elevator to you when you reach the top, though this'll waste time).
Once you're up the Ivory Tower, grab the Rocket Launcher and the spare ammo (video will show you were it is if you don't know) and top up on any extra DMR you may need. Then, weapon-swap the active camo from the crate on the right lower side of the room (as you enter) to right in front of your elevator of choice. NOT inside the elevator, as this will render it unusable. Make sure you have sprint equipped. Whack the jammer, sprint down the centre hallway from the jammer then hang a right or left towards your elevator of choice. You should get off two full bursts (remember to count off your 4 second cooldown in between) to get you right to the elevator. Grab a healthpack if you need it (though you often won't) switch to camo, get in the elevator and push the button.
Next is a random location objective, that you'll need to refer to my (slightly incomplete) guide on page 12 to it find easily.
Next objective could either be Vyrant or the Hospital. I'll talk about Vyrant Tower first.
The enemies outside aren't too much trouble, just strafe from left to right to get good angles on the ones hiding behind the pillars. Watch out for Banshees mobbing your rear as you're doing this though; I often encountered a lot.
Replace your DMR for the Needle Rifles of the two Jackals temporarily, and use it, in combination with camo, to hit the back of one of the Hunters on the dancefloor. Keeping super-combining into their fleshy back until you run out of ammo. By this point, the Hunter's back armour should have been long exposed. Take your Rocket Launcher and take 1 shot at a time into their back. Wait until it charges its weapon, as this will mean it will stay still. They can be a bit fidgety otherwise and you don't want to waste your ammo. Hopefully after this barrage the Hunter in question will be dead. If not, there are extra rockets in the centre of the dancefloor and an extra Needle Rifle at the bottom of the stairs on the left side of the Club which lead to the jammer. If this is still not enough, shoot them with your DMR, there are extra rounds near the bar on the right side of the club.
You only need 1 of the dancefloor Hunters dead, so don't divide your attention/ammo with fighting the other ones.
Once they are dead, the hunter at the top which is on the same side as the one you killed will lumber down the stairs to take their place on the dancefloor tango-ing with the troopers at the back.
Once they're down there, you'll have an entire stairway clear to the jammer. Camo up the stairs to the jammer and hide behind one of the pillars there briefly to recharge your camo (from full deplete, this will take around 15 seconds). Then camo over to the Jammer and activate it. As demonstrated in my video, while it is useful if the other Hunter is still distracted by Troopers, it is not required, as from this distance they won't notice a crouch-walking active-camoed Spartan at all. Once thats done, use whatever camo you have left to head back down the stairs to the bar areas (the Hunters on the dancefloor can and will shoot you otherwise). If you feel the need, let your camo recharge here, then use it to cover your run to the exit.
One note: if you need health, grab it from one of the first floor stations NOW, as once you get to the exit, the two healthpacks in the enxtrance room will de-load.
If you have any Needle Rifle ammo left, take it and your DMR and proceed to the Hospital. The NR is particularly devastating against the Brutes you will encounter on your way in.
The Hospital:
This tough area is the main reason we brought camo from SinoViet in the first place. And it has multiple uses here, including making a couple of the toughest fights (the Ranger Elites and the Concussion-weilding Ultra) a peice of cake.
Enter, crouched, camo activated into the hospital. You should be able to assassinate 3/4 sleeping Grunts here no problem. There is sometimes one next to the left pillar as you enter that is unnaffected by the Engineer's super-shield pulses, and he is the most fidgety, take him out first.
Occasionaly, the grunts from the level below you will come up the spiral staircase and ruin your fun. If they do, you'll have to back out, and reenter camoed, and take your DMR shots in between the Engineer's shield pulses.
Next target is the Engineer itself. The quickest way to kill it is with two DMR headshots. One to knock off its cap, one to explode it. Failing that, unload most of a DMR magazine, or two Needle Rifle Super-combines into it to kill it.
After that, slowly make your way down the series of stairs making liberal use of Camo to scout and to get shots on target with relative impunity. Move around near the walls, camo, and move the edge and shoot the Covenant over it. Shouldn't even need a healthpack.
The Brute at the bottom, if you've managed to secure a Needle Rifle from Club Errera, use it now, if not, you should have plenty of DMR ammo. Peak over the edge just so his head is showing. He won't be able to get you back regardless of whether you're camoed or not.
Take his NR and use it on the next brutes until it runs dry. Again making use of camo to catch them unawares. Then back to DMR. Be sure to take out the Engineer ASAP, usually just before the bridge.
