In theory, Halo 2 Mythic wouldn't be that bad since the Iron Skull doesn't revert you back to the beginning of the level (although, I've heard once you have enough skulls activated, you stop getting checkpoints). Active Camo sucked in Halo 2, so the Assassin's Skull wouldn't really be that big of a deal. And then you have the Envy Skull which is actually makes it easier. I'm not doing this, because there's no way to prove it (I come on to this forum and say "I'm going to beat Halo on Mythic" and that keeps me motivated because if I don't beat it, I'll look stupid).
You would have to have, like, thirteen separate profiles for the skulls. Set up time could take about twenty minutes.
So, I'm saying, -blam!- that.
I did the 13 profile trick around 2 years ago, gathered every skull and set the difficulty to easy, so I was playing SEASO, not SLASO/Mythic. The lack of a copy profile feature was absolutely retarded however and playing through the campaign that many times almost sent me over the edge.
Anyway, I knew of a few section skips etc and managed to go through Cairo Station all the way up to Oracle. It was actually quite fun to be honest though it was difficult at times. However the fun did end the instant I met the flood.
Imagine it, every flood is an elite form with shields, they have active camo, and 2 hits is enough to kill you, and you're constantly getting swarmed to boot. That section on the elevator took me hours to get past, and by then I had to stop playing for the day and get some sleep.
You mentioned the assassin's skull not being that bad, trust me, it is. When everything is camoed and blind's active, it becomes way harder to kill stuff then with just blind. Also, jackal snipers. You will learn to absolutely hate them to their core.
You know, I probably will go back one day and finish off H2 SEASO. It was a great challenge at the time but it was still fun for the most part. H2 Mythic however I'd stay far away from.
