When the dust settles, you will learn what true terror is.

then shelled the remaining Sangheili into vapor with the Wraith's plasma mortar.
Finally, that one General Elite sucks at CQB. Assassinated him.
Pillar of Autumn is going to be hell.
First off, you win points for using the actual name for the elite's race.
Secondly, if you didn't have much trouble with the General in CQB, then PoA is going to be a relative breeze for you. Especially since you can skip most of the level.
really now?
Yes. You can skip the opening battle, ride past everything on the mongoose, run on the rooftops to skip the brute blockade, you have to fight through the bugger tunnels but honestly that's pretty easy, then you can skip the first part of Boneyard, run right past/over the second half of Boneyard, drop right behind the elites inside the building and into the door, then you can skip the three ultras in the first smelting room, skip the hunter spawn entirely, set things up for an easy fight through smelting room number 2, then it's really just the landing pad which is a whole lot of long-range DMRing/Brute NRing, and a few plasma pepper bouts for chieftains.
Of course, you can easymode most of the landing pad if you can pull off the concussion rifle jump (inadvisable without lots of practice) and the zealots you can skip entirely and just take down the field marshall.
The difficulty isn't in the encounters, it's in the length of the level. There's a lot of opportunity to screw up, so the longer the level the more chances it's going to happen. But even then, we're talking about the challenge not Mythic, so it doesn't matter at all since you can cheat, I mean circumvent the iron skull, by saving and quitting or by playing co-op and not restart the level each time someone dies.

Welcome back, Tyrant! We're glad to hear you're ok! Now that you're well, I can ask potentially insensitive questions like:
What were you doing going 80 mph on the I-95? I wasn't aware speed limits went above seventy...
If the speed limit was 70 then I'm more disappointed he wasn't going faster. a 70 zone calls for at least 90!
