(can't quote I'm on iPod.) but if you want to beat me, practice the bridge assassinations, it can go wrong very quickly and ruin your run. Trust me.
I tried that too. It is indeed risky but when it works it makes it a lot easier.
I practiced it, I killed the Grunt and the first patrolling Elite and the Elite behind him and all of the Elites turned on me.. any idea why?
I think the General heard a row and he yelled, "the Yanks were coming!"
Bad reference...I'll stop. Yeah, but the general is a variable. He'll look at the globe for a bit, then he'll go clear his mind and look out the window.
But if there's two grunts standing in front of the globe, you're pretty much screwed.

I'm sitting rather contently at 6/9 and working on PoA. Why? Because it's fun. I ended up killing too many enemies at the second half of the Boneyard area, which in turn caused enemies to kind of retreat inside. So, I ended up having to kill everything there. Well, I killed the Grunts by myself, at least. I had to use Emile to kill the 3 Elites watching over the exit. Emile wouldn't go down to fight them, instead he would stay one floor above them, firing his shotgun. I'm watching from the armory area and what I ended up having to do was using grenades to knock Emile off and down by the Elites.
So after that, I finally get to go forward and advance, only to get trapped by the 3 Elites. One of them rushed Emile so I went down the stairs and was going to go back up to get a kill...then I see him look over at me, because apparently he had lost sight of Emile. So he chases me down there and gets caught on the stairs. My other exits, coincidentally, were blocked by a Plasma Repeater Elite and one with a Concussion Rifle. And so I got gunned down. Oh well. At least now I know that there aren't anywhere near as many enemies in the second part of Boneyard as I thought.
I applaud your persistence. Emile is the worst ally in my opinion; he only serves as a distraction. At least Kat and Carter can make headshots. Granted, I'd rather go through the level with him than without him. On the same note, I'm having a weird amount of fun trying to beat LNOS.
