Field Marshall stuck me. I'd ran out of ammo on Plasma Pistols but noticed he was standing still at one point and, seeing as how lowering his shields had failed so far, moved in to assassinate him. But he turned around at just the right moment to spoil my fun...and to put salt in the wound, threw a sticky at me instead to trying to melee me. :(
Still, cleared the landing pad quite easily this time. Bringing a full Needle Rifle, full DMR and the Concussion Rifle to it and using the DMR to beat the first wave. CR jumped to the Mac Gun once there were only 3 or 4 enemies left with the Needle Rifle in my hands and destroyed the second wave's non-Chieftan Phantom. Slaughtered Brutes and Jackels with the NR, destroyed both Phantoms of the third wave, then borrowed a Jackel's Plasma Pistol to battle the Chieftans with. Annoying, the only tricky thing in that run was the Field Marshall...and he beat me. :(
I honestly can't fathom the frustration that would come from that. Sorry dude. As for the feild marshal I would use one of teh duel wielders plasma rifles unless you couln't get to them. If not use grenades and needlers to cause him to dodge
around next time. Just like on Long Night.
If I had ammo left in the NR, I was going to make him go on a dodging spree and close the gap to kill him, but alas I couldn't reload after killing the FRG Chieftan and so assumed I had pretty much none left. Needlers weren't around either - Every Grunt has a Plasma Pistol. The Field Marshall just loved hiding out of sight of me after a dodge...
To be honest, it wasn't as irritating as it should have been. The Landing Pad went awfully well so that might have off-set the irritation.
