Segmented Uprising in 1:26, part of the Halo 2 Done Segmented, which was a special project that was done a while ago.
Played on Legendary.

Oh snap! Guess that's the fastest right there.

That run takes advantage of skulls. Which you could equally do on SLASO I suppose...

Fastest SLASO run of Uprising is 2:18 that I know of. With Assassins active almost all the sword flying parts are impossible.

Cairo Station, The Arbiter, The Oracle, Gravemind, Regret, Uprising are the reasons that I'm not even going to think about trying this.

The fastest Uprising time is 1:50. Obviously you haven't perused HSH's speedrun leaderboards before or looked at some of the amazing stuff people have pulled off in Halo 2.

Wow, did I actually say Uprising? My bad--I don't know why I put it there. Uprising was always one of my favorite Halo 2 Levels to play on Legendary as was The Great Journey.

Okay, listen, we should get our stories straight, all right? If anyone asks, and no one's gonna ask, don't worry, but if anyone asks, tell them as far as you know, the last time you checked, everyone looked pretty much alive, all right? Not dead.

Yesss... Got sword base done on Mythic just few moments ago. It was quite easy after all but still took few tries. Few... next will be Night fall.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Best Regards,
The Tyrant

Regret gives me the shivers. Snipers? Temples? Gondolas? Not to mention the toughest boss battle of the three...

Halo Reach 2/3rds of the way mythic conqueror (6/9)

I am inconsistent with my current journey. Mainly anxienty by Long Night of Solace. I don't know if I should just stop and move on or continue. I have reconsidered twice already and have come back only to another sore ass from Long Nights strong kicks.

Mythic is now more than entertainment and sometimes stressful. Should I continue or stop?

Awesome!

After ONI Sword Base, Nightfall should be a breeze for you. Gratz on already having two down!

It would be a shame if you kicked Mythic to the curb with only one mission to go. If it helps, I'll have my Long Night LASO video up soon. Perhaps that will give you a helping hand. I have started using alternative methods for the Comm Room battle. And there is another way to deal with those two Ultras rather than double-tapping which is in the Mythic Guide on HBO. Slow and steady might be your best option as opposed to the quicker route.

Banging your head against the same wall often doesn't help that much. Some of my best runs have been the one at the very start of the day when I haven't really been practicing all that much.

What else have you got left? New Alexandria and PoA? Try your hand at those: mix things up and then come back to LNoS either with another level under your belt or at least a break up in the monotony.

LNoS was my last mission and I found it to be one of the most frustrating to beat.

Your right maybe the POA would be better as my aiming with the blind skull is fantastic now. I will try that besides LNoS is a -blam!- and the PoA is not as much. Then after NA I shall finish with a bang on Long Night with the motivation of a madman to finally complete mythic.

@ tyrant if I had 1 I be compelled to finish I have 3 left.

NA should be an easy one. Look out for my LASO guide on it tomorrow :-) The last two can be tough, but PoA has gotten significantly easier since we first started Mythic.

I spoke to The Game Station about the new Mythic websites (both MythicTyrant and the Mythic community one) and I have a point person who would like to help you guys develop adspace and monetize the sites.

PM me for contact info. He's a really nice guy named Ben who graduated from Yale, worked for THQ, and now does business development at TGS. He knows this stuff probably better than anyone else out there.

Thanks for the contact, the site is really in its infancy, and honestly the only reason it's Wordpress at all is because I don't have enough time to write a custom site. As of right now I'm the only one with administrator rights, but I may be extending that privilege to others soon so it can be developed more rapidly.

Yay!

And Tip of the Mythic is not bad at all. It's one of the easier missions. The main bottleneck comes from the second Tyrant gun which can be quite simple if you manage to jack a Wraith. A Revenant works well too though if the Wraith accidentally shifts in reverse :-P

Yep, it's quite easy but damn. I already tried four times and died due to bad luck on all of the tries. =P

First I got killed by the zealot because he somehow maged to ninja down from the ramp where he is usually and the circeled behind me and beat me down.

Second try I died because at the second AA gun there was only one wraith instead of the usual two. The only wraith left is much harder to jack and I died because the ultra came off the wraith to the exact same side as I came off of the turret. Well, you guess what he did to my poor back.

Third try, same again as on second.

Fourth, zealot got a lucky stuck on me.

Well, I'll get it done tomorrow. It can't be that hard though. I'm just little confused because usually at the second AA gun are two wraiths but recently there has been only one. Weird...

The second wraith (and sometimes the first as well) tends to throw itself off the cliff... You can actually up the chances of this happening by crossing a loading threshold behind the hill where the Tyrant gun is (the path where you have to go left or right after you jump down from the cliff from BXR). If you can't get a wraith, the revenant is good, or setting up the warthog at a distance can be even faster for most of the cannon fodder.

So that's why I heard a silent explosion of a wraith trought my head sets. Lolsuicidewraiths...

Well, I hope next time I can get the wraih that is at the right side of the AA gun hill. Much more easier to jack because an Ultra jumps on the other ones turret when you kill the grunt.

But thanks for the info, at least i know that the other wraith is at the bottom of the lake if it's not at the road.

Halo Reach 2/3rds of the way mythic conqueror (6/9)

I actually used the plasma launchers to kill the second wraith then used the wharthog to target the weak spot in the hunters neck. This works when aquiring a wraith just isn't possible.

By the way I still have The Package to get through on easy when my progress was reset. Saturday I'll start practice one week later I'll try unless on Sunday I'm already excellent about the mission.

EDIT: on easy on the package. The last wave came and with my wraith I shot the phantom. The explosian took out the wraith's main cannon and teh gunner. I then Hijacked it and played around then proceeded to finish the mission. I thought it was funny so I filmed it

...Long Night Of Solace!
Uh-Oh. Better get prepared well before the real Mythic run. Aren't there three nasty places in that mission: first when you jump into the corvette, then the bridge and then finally the hangar.

When I get this mission done the rest is a easy work compared to Solace.

It's really just the Comms Room (when you first board the Corvette) and the Bridge, the final hangar battle is pretty easy with the pelican turret glitch. Hell, you can just stay in there until you clear everything and not worry since you're invincible, will just take a lot of time.

Oh and grats on TotS!

See that's what I though as well. But Exodus and PoA really challenged me far more than LNoS. My LNoS runs went almost perfectly (with < 10 tries total--sorry Alpine). Where as Exodus took around 20 tries, and PoA > 30. I guess the point is that there are still challenges after LNoS...
