Dude your doing it all wrong. Start with easier ones to build up to solace. Theres is a reason solace has been determined the hardest mission. I actually swithed over to the PoA from this reason. Hmm... yeah, maybe I should do others first. Well, better get exodus a go to night...
Can't still just believe that the comms room is such a bad bottle neck. Also I'd better check what alarmed the two ultras right before the bridge so I can avoid doing the same mistake again.
There are a couple things that could alarm the cannon room ultras. If there are still enemies in the hangar, including grunts, it will alert them. Also, if your marines survived the hangar and come with you to the cannon room, they will alert the elites almost every time.
Depending on the method you use for the hangar battle, you want to either use grenades to finish off any marines the enemies don't kill, or you want to sprint to the cannon room as soon as all the hangar enemies are down before your marines have a chance to follow. Well that wasn't the problem this time. I already knew that those things might alert the elites but I checked it from theater and found out that I threw a hologram towards an elite that had retreated to the hallway leading to the cannon room. That hologram was just in the right angle to get past the portable shields and throught the door into the cannon room and then the patrolling elite saw it and thats why they were alerted. Also about the rockets, at the beach area and inside the launch place are three rockets. Shouldn't you get two missiles from each of them?
