I really wish I could show everyone the stuff I've come up with for Pillar of Autumn and other levels. Not like...approach stuff; just lots of mental notes about the levels. I even have the AI's behavior figured out.
Well, why can't you show us?

Bit of a fan of Sun Tzu eh?

What are you currently trying for the Comm Room RC?
Blah, I don't know really. I had a practice run where I went in with drop shield, grabbed the holo, and cleared the room first try. So I thought I'd try that. Got completely owned.

Long Night of Solace sucks balls. I hate that the hardest bit in the level is right in the damn middle! AFTER the super boring and tedious bits, and before any decent fighting. GRR. Gonna watch more vids. Need more strats to try out cus what I have at the moment ain't working. Tried the holo like Michael suggested: got assassinated.
You can get assassinated? Are you sure you just weren't low on shields? Even if you have a little bit of shields, you will still die from a melee.
Well, when I say 'assassinated' by an AI I really mean 'they snuck up behind me and whacked me in the back and killed me.'
I really hate that area. Maybe its fun in multiplayer, I haven't really played on it, but its damned awkward in campaign.
Good luck with your space endeavors, RC Master.
I already hate space... >_<

I'm in College, (well, we call it 'University' unlike you yanks...)
Woah, woah, woah. We're not all yanks. How do you know none of us are from Georgia or Texas? Calling everyone from the US "yanks" is like calling everyone from China "Mongolians".
Traditionally, "yank" is a New Englander. About one hundred forty years ago, we had a little rebellion. Those of us who remained loyal to the government were dubbed "yankees". The rebels lost, so they're still Americans, but not "yankees". So now it means someone from a historically loyalist state. I don't know why we're using these names from a war one hundred forty years ago, but I didn't make this up.
The more you know!
Thats not really the usage outside the US. See the Wiktionary entry on 'Yank', second definition:
A Yankee, an American: someone from the United States
I don't usually use the word, but at the time I thought it was easier than putting 'USA-ians' or something. I dislike using 'Americans' as a descriptor solely for people of the USA since there are actually some 35 countries in the Americas that could lay claim to that term.
