There comes a point where it goes from being challenging to tedious and no fun.

Absolutely . There's a (sometimes hard to discern) difference between "insanely challenging" and "deliberately wasting your time;" the game "I Wanna Be That Guy" is an example of the former; "Zork", and from what I hear, "Demon's Souls", are examples of the latter.

In theory, Halo 2 Mythic wouldn't be that bad since the Iron Skull doesn't revert you back to the beginning of the level (although, I've heard once you have enough skulls activated, you stop getting checkpoints). Active Camo sucked in Halo 2, so the Assassin's Skull wouldn't really be that big of a deal. And then you have the Envy Skull which is actually makes it easier. I'm not doing this, because there's no way to prove it (I come on to this forum and say "I'm going to beat Halo on Mythic" and that keeps me motivated because if I don't beat it, I'll look stupid).

You would have to have, like, thirteen separate profiles for the skulls. Set up time could take about twenty minutes.

So, I'm saying, -blam!- that.

You forget, though, that Mythic includes NO DEATHS regardless of the effects of Iron. For those of you willing to try, how about now...

New Alexandria's club room with all the fuel rod grunts, etc.

What?

The default enemies are hunters. Why would you only activate 1 egg switch?

Ahh you are correct, it appears as though my memory is slipping :/. Finals got me too stressed out.

You know I've been watching Tyrant's video for New Alexandria and there was a part where he was in a club and the grunts and brutes were dancing. I noticed he killed 2 brutes in the club. Do you have to kill anybody in the club or do you have to kill certain enemies in order not to wake everybody up?

If you hit both of the "Easter Egg" switches, then the grunts will continue to dance no matter what you do. However, as soon as you hit the jammer, the brutes will become active and will attack you, so it's better to take them out first, on your terms, rather than having to fight through them to get back out. There should be 3 brutes you need to kill, not two.

The third was too drunk to fight.

I was finishing a Mythic run of "The Package" and I noticed something that wasn't included in the guide.

If you jack both banshees, another banshee won't spawn until one of the jacked banshees despawns, which is about 10-15 minutes later. I didn't end up having to deal with a single banshee from the wraith jack on, so my run was a cakewalk.

Just figured it'd be useful information.

Does Tilt on LNoS affect the seraph shields?

Does Tilt on LNoS affect the seraph shields?

Probably, but not tremendously. It's hard to tell how much is tilt, and how much is Mythic. It takes me about 5 -10 seconds of fire to take out the shields.

Is there any way to get the hidden DMR crate on PoA to fall inside the building only? I was trying to flip it rightside up with a grenade, which resulted in the crate being catapulted off the cliff. Damn Sputnik. My run ended after the third brute I engaged in hand to hand combat bashed my face in. Any advice, other than not making idiotic moves like that one?

There are some pistols in weapons crates around. One of the crates is in that room you punch the box in to get the DMR crate out of the wall, and in the room on the bottom level of that building is another one. Two pistols per crate, so should be a passable substitute once your DMR runs out.

You mentioned the assassin's skull not being that bad, trust me, it is. When everything is camoed and blind's active, it becomes way harder to kill stuff then with just blind. Also, jackal snipers. You will learn to absolutely hate them to their core.

Combined with the armory skull that would be hell, having invisible snipers that are always looking at you.

What triggers the Gauss Hog to drop on ONI Sword Base? It certainly isn't activating the switches...

If you rush the switches, you have to move far enough away from the area to trigger it. Pretty sure it has to do with killing all the enemies. I typically drive toward Sword Base until I reach the point that you turn left away from the beach and wait a few seconds before turning around. This deloads the enemies and triggers the gauss hog to get dropped off.

I tried that but wasn't able to get it to work. I was only able to get the Gauss Hog to drop once I had actually killed all of the enemies (did this in a separate run). A shame too. I had actually successfully performed THREE shortcuts in that mission, but was at a stalemate when the gauss hog didn't drop. What do you do about the enemies in front of the Sword Base entrance?

#1 Legendary ODST Firefight Highscore

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

Exodus has really been bumming me out, so I figured I give New Alexandria a shot, just for a break. I have been trying to do the banshee fly through if the hospital, but whenever I land my banshee and get out, it will soon dissappear. Perhaps I need to land farther away from the door, not activating triggers?

I've only tried that method a few times and had a rough time with it. It's great in principle, but since none of the enemies in the hospital are really all that challenging (assuming you have camo), I don't really see the need to go the Banshee route.

4) It must be performed on Mythic Difficulty.
5) It does NOT need to be apart of a full run, but it must be tested proven to work.
