I re-watched the video of RC jumping up to the MAC cannon on Pillar, and i was wondering, would it be viable on Mythic? I have a LOT of trouble fighting all the enemies, which i found out during both runs of LD Pillar. Shooting the drop ships before they drop the enemies would make it so much easier, but the non-regenerating health might be a bit of a problem.
Viable on mythic? Definately.
RC's method, imo, is a bit harder to get down opposed to the drop shield method. I had been trying RC's but could never get it to work for me, but got it with the ds on my first attempt. So long as you've taken out all but 4 (correct me if that's not the minimum before the next wave comes in) of the enemies around the landing pad, and have full health and shields via a health pack, it's a green light for the jump.
Awesome, i think that's what i'll have to do then. It just looks a lot safer than fighting out the whole battle.
I can't get the concussion rifle jump either. How would the drop shield work (video please, doesn't need to be rendered)? I have tried that before but I'm probably doing it wrong. I can get everything else to work just fine on legendary except that part. If I could complete PoA on mythic I would seriously consider going for the rest.
Sorry to quote myself, but I got the drop shield jump to work. I made a film clip of it and put it in my fileshare, but I'm not linking it because I doubt anyone would want it because I was practicing on normal. I hope to have a clip up of the same thing on legendary by tomorrow. Thanks for making this thread tyrant! It has really helped me with the LASO challenges.
