Aight folks...I've found another hit. This time I'll give you the links to the websites.

The first site is where i looked up the long and lat at mapquest, then zoomed all the way in.
CLICK HERE FOR MAPQUEST RESULTS AND BE SURE TO ZOOM IN
The second site is from www.whitepages.com; and it shows the location of Allen Games as being in muscle shoals. I bet at that exact same spot!

Sorry, but you theory is incorrect. For example, the corridinates 43.0726, -89.3986 are right on the University of Wisconsin Campus (I live right by it and went to school there). These coordinates are almost right on the University Book Store, which does not sell video games of any kind. The coordinates 43.0748, -89.3978 are almost right next to the bookstore and are pretty much in the middle of a small area between the bookstore and the library where food stands are set up. I don't think game stores have anything to do with these numbers.

Don't discredit it yet. I've found 2 hits already.

Trust me, the nearest game store is miles away from the coordinates I listed above. I live a short distance from there and spent just about every day at the library next to those coordinates. With the high number of "locations" listed on the site, the probabilty of a few of them being the location of a game store is relatively high.

Check this out. I started searching the coordinates at mapquest. Then I zoomed all the way in to look at the street names. Then I went to whitepages.com and looked for gaming businesses in the area. Sure enough...the coordinates point to different gaming stores in the nation. For example...the coordinates 39.9116, -86.2157 (one of the first in the list) shows up near W 86th Street in Indianapolis, Illinios. I searched for any business with the word game in it in the indianapolis area, and BLAM! I found that a Gamestop was in the near exact same coordinates. What do yall think?

Firstly. There is no Indianapolis, IL.

Secondly - There are so many stores that sell video games that it COULD be a coincidence.

I am not discounting the theory, but am merely pointing out that ppl might be misinterpreting evidence because they hope (so do i) that these are the release location (possible early) of halo 2.

Aight peoples this is the third time I've gotten a hit. Check it out for yourself.

THIS IS THE LINK TO THE MAPQUEST LONG AND LAT COORDINATES
THIS IS THE LINK TO THE WHITEPAGES LOOK UP

The location is an EB Games address. But maybe we don't just need to look up gaming stores. This whole thing could be for that new oxm magazine on the 24th. So look up game stores, magazine shops, coffee shops, big malls etc.

yeah but if there is only 220 points, that means that there is only 220 game stores in the U.S. THere's got to be a lot more places than that. Like thousands. It's not game stores

Whatever this turns out to be, it looks like there are no points in Texas in that list. Pretty much everywhere else but Texas. If this ends up being cool, and they skip texas then that sucks. BTW when somebody gets a comprehisive list please post.

yeeaaa... That would be greeaattt....

Again, the St. Louis coordinates point to the riverfront. The only thing in the zip code (63102) are riverboat casinos and the Gateway Arch. There isn't a single store that sells games on the riverfront. The actual street shown is S. Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd, which runs directly beneath the arch stairs and right in front of the docks. The only store there is a bicycle rental shop.

I checked both sets in Boise, ID (43.6058, -116.2122 and 43.5693, -116.2147) and neither are anywhere near a gaming store.

It might not be ONLY gaming stores. It could be other types of stores as well. I'm thinking that it will be any store that sells the next months OXM special issue; and lets face it, even piggly wigglys sell OXM's.

Or what? You'll release the dogs? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you?
Well do your worst. [DOOR SHUTS!} Hey, he locked the door.

maby it is connect the dots

someone should find all the locations in order that they appear on the site and then connect them with lines in that order.

From what it sounds like not all of the coordinates are gamestores, so
I doubt that's what they are. The first thing that came to my mind were
Covenant strike points, but someone said one was off the coast of
California, so that's not likely either.

Its not gane stores. There 55 Gamestops within 50 miles of wher i live. (I checked on MApquest) since there are only 220 points i doubt there are only 165 and/or other game selling stores in the rest of the US
