"Ah, the ways Halo has effected my life; when I'm on the toilet, I now think of "BOMB PLANTED, BOMB ARMED"

I just got Halo 2 Vista, mostly because I like the higher resolutions, the online play is still up and for some achievements.

I'm on Outskirts, at the part where you drive the warthog for the first time. But, even though my mouse sensitivity is set to 10, the controls on both the Ghost and Warthog (and I assume all other vehicles) feels terrible slow to turn, as if the sensitivity goes from 10 to 1 once I enter the Warthog.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there any way to fix it? It's ruining the vehicle portion of the game.

Thanks!

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

If you play with a controller, you'll find the vehicles are just as slow to turn. The difference is, you can just hold your joystick forever until you've turned enough. With a mouse you have to keep replacing your mouse over and over, and it's more effort. H2V was just badly ported. In Halo PC you can turn your view around instantly with the mouse, the vehicle just has to catch up. That retains a sense of control. This means Gearbox is smart and Microsoft scabs aren't.
