No, but it would be "fair" if the H2V players were able to get that same "flair" as well.
Both were PC games and how is it fair to let dedicated Xbox players of CE buy a PC copy to get their flair and not have H2V get theirs when they did play that game and have the timestamped achievements to back it up?
Heck, 343 Indusries should add the achievements of Halo 2 (PC) to the Halo Waypoint, because they did include Halo Wars and that wasn't made by Bungie and there is no Reach nameplate for that either, but there is one for Marathon:Durandal?
I even played Halo 2 on the Xbox 360 before the cut-off date and got no nameplate for it. My Bungie.net account got wiped somehow, because I know I sure as hell made one to get the septagon and stats in Halo 3 when that was released. Why don't Bungie add stats for H2V to Bungie.net?
It's a mess so please fix this Bungie.
Problem is, there's not enough demand for it. The H2V community is quite small, and people would probably get pissed if the achievements made it into Waypoint, because there would be no way for them to get any outside of the Xbox 360.
I do agree with you about the flair, seeing as you can still buy a PC copy of Halo: CE to get a nameplate, but the one for Halo 2 is gone for good. And since some folks like me only got to play Halo 2 on Vista (or any lack of H2X, period), not only is the Halo 2 nameplate gone, but so is the Halo nameplate, and (at least for me) the Spartan Helmet nameplate. Ones such as the Reach Beta, I can understand. But since there's other options for playing Halo 2 on XBL, there should be an opportunity to get the nameplate for it. Same way the Marathon: Durandal nameplate was unlocked would be the easiest way.
I know I probably shouldn't be ranting about it, since it's just visual flair, and I'm pretty content with my Halo: CE nameplate, but I couldn't help it...
