well the top of the line radeons are better than the 6800 gtas for the 7800... ati hasnt made an answer yet.
If you are only getting one card, you don't need an SLI motherboard, and you might want an ati card, as the nvidia ones have alot of problems with halo.
ATi cards generally perform better with heavy pixel shader implements than Nvidia, meaning better quality. Most ATi cards don't require a lot of power from the PSU or block a nearby PCI slot.
-blam!- nerds ill tale u.SO MANY NERDS HAHA. i got the best system but to i chat about it no 3,000 alien ware its sick lata homiez eazy
Why did you get an alienware????They make overpriced peices of -blam!-As for graphics cards, nVidia offers more bang for the buck. My 6600GT plays halo perfectly at 157fps. Make sure you buy from trusted manufactures.

Posted by: brian8350 gb alienware it rocks your just a broke nerd lata homiez. And that makes you....a -blam!- retard...for the following reasons:1) You talk like you're on AIM. AIM sucks anyway.2) You bought an Alienware. That is the most overpriced -blam!- on the pc gaming market.3) A 350 GB hard drive does not make your computer "THE gaming pc". I bet even mydell can outpower your hunk of junk you call a computer.[Edited on 9/28/2005]
