I know most of you won't believe me but what do I do if I have a lost serial number? Do I have to buy the game again or can I call M$ customer support? Does M$ even have a customer support?

Method 1: Examine the CD-ROM
Examine the CD-ROM for visible deformation or scratches. If the disc is damaged, contact Microsoft Sales at (800) 360-7561 to obtain a replacement CD-ROM.

thats a quote from the microsoft help page at http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;245063#kb1

I suppose if you have the original cd perhaps case as well, an you call them and tell them you lost hte key but still have the cd perhaps an receipt to send it in or something for a replacement

Have a pleasent day

Only thing you can do is call Microsoft - their number should be on the support pages of Microsoft.com.

That would be piracy, which is a Very Bad Thing. You're going to have to pay Microsoft that $10.

don't lose your seriel number in the future, then u wont have to go for ages making topics and u wont have to pay an extra 10 dollars

ps, where do u put ur disk anyway, it would been best to keep it in the origanal case that u got
