So, after 118 pages, i am sure that i will not be adding anything new, but here is my issues.
I played Halo reach about 6 times, before all the maps went away in campaign mode, and multiplayer. Now, i get a green screen while loading, and the error message, The game failed to load for unknown reason.
I called customer support, the first time, i was told to get an xbox live account, (I don't currently have one, because there is no hi-speed internet offered in my area - FML)
So, i was told to go pay for an account, and an update would fix everything. (Spend x$ here)
That didn't work.
I called again, and was told my console needed to be sent in, but it was going to cost me, like the 4 times of RROD. (Super! ) i declined, because all of my other games work.
I played the game on 4 other machines, all NOT 1st generation machines, like mine, Reach Works on all of them, even with my hard drive plugged in, The maps will load, everything works great!
The problem only seems to be happening with the first generation Xbox 360's.
I am waiting on Microsoft to find a solution, and either send me my money back for the game, or find some sort of patch for the early models of their console.
What a huge mess up.
I would rather the customer support be honest with me and tell me, they don't have a solution yet, but i will be contacted when they do, rather then point me in directions that spend MORE of my money, and don't actually fix anything! Thanks Microsoft! Thanks..
