My disk reads somewhat decently. I've had a few freezes, but here comes the most frustrating part... I am on "The Pillar of Autumn" and my Xbox keeps freezing up. I've got the game installed on my harddrive. I'm running one of the earlier Premium edition consoles (white, silver tray) and haven't had issues with other games (that I couldn't solve).
The game doesn't seem to freeze in the same spot on the level, but I can't make it to the first save point. When it freezes, I am able to eject the game manually (button on the console) and the dashboard loads. However, with the game frozen, I am unable to use the software/controller to exit to dashboard.
No clue why it's doing this. It only did this for one other level, but after starting again it didn't freeze.
This happens in both single player and coop gameplay. I've tried changing difficulty in hopes of perhaps lowering the strain on the Xbox, but have had no success.
Disc is clean, laser is clean (as far as I know, used a store bought laser cleaner disc.
Any suggestions (aside from the expected "Get a new Xbox" or "Something something noob something something").
I'd have started a new thread, but I think this falls in line with the discussion and just made this account so I can't start a new thread...
In any case, I'm pretty irate about the whole thing. No impressed at all.
