He said when you send your Xbox in, they put a software update on your Xbox 360 so that you are able to play the game. SO OBVIOUSLY THEY KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!! so then I asked him, multiple times, why don't they just put the software update online as a patch for people to download through Xboxlive.com. He babbled on about how I just need to send it in over and over again, and he wouldn't give me a clear answer. So I told him that some people are considering getting a class action against this problem, and that this is pure false advertising, the game is advertised to work exclusively on the Xbox 360 system and it doesn't work on all of them, therefore it is false advertising, and goes against other laws as well. In the end he just told me, if there is an update it will be on Xbox Live, he didn't say what time, or even if it will be soon. I guess if this goes on for another 2 days, people should take legal action, and to start calling your local news staions, video game blogs, video game websites, technology forums, technology magazines, and everything to make everyone aware of what Microsoft and Bungie are doing to their customers. It is unlawful and unethical for them to do such a thing like this to their loyal customers, especially the ones who have been here since Halo 1 and even the original Xbox release many years ago.
