the only reason jackels were actually a threat was their overcharged plasma pistols but now since there is no health bar and the sheild is your health the jackel hits you and either they left it the same and your shield drops then you get shot once or twice dead or they made the pistols not hurt as much so then he shoots you then wow not a big deal so now hes not a threat what do you think they will do?

thats a very good point, that we have overlooked, seeing this i think theirs going to have to be health in the "Final" HUD cuz if u have a plasma pistol and another gun dual wielded thats 2 shot kills.

It's probably not much of a change, except that all your health (if you survive the encounter) will return with out a med-kit.

By health I mean shields, they are your "health" now. (If nothing is changed since the beta.)

Everyon seems to be discouraged and worried that one shot after your shield is down can kill you, did none of you realize that a headshot with no shields kills you in Halo? It's the same thing, there's just no indicator or bar.

Besides, plasma weapons do squat to health, so having one plasma and one human weapon is a near must anyways.

there is going to be a health bar in the in halo 2. thats common since. why dont you people stop getting worked over stupid stuff. every video game known to man has some sort of health indicator and halo 2 will be know differient. that would be so stupid if they didnt have a health bar and plus in the books master chiefs suit tells him how much health he has left and his ammo, his sheild, and his granades he has left. why dont you just use your head and you will see and know that they will have a health meter

Look, we dont know what will be in the final HUD, I dont know that there wont be a bar, and you dont know that there WILL be. Until we get the game in our hands or screens of the final HUD no one knows. The fact is that either way the gameplay doesnt change, as has been said by PEOPLE WHO HAVE PLAYED WITHOUT HEALTH BARS. Don't freak

I think it'd be stupid to not have Health in Halo 2, it's like they're suggesting that the all new and improved MJOLNIR Mk. VI can't withstand a few bullets? Like come on, in The Fall of Reach MC took 3 shots to his side and he was still able to fight. And that was with NO MJOLNIR armour at all! And now all of a sudden 3 or 4 shots can kill him when he's in MJOLNIR mark 6?

people are so stupid. there will be a health bar. every game known to man has one and that would be extremely stupid on bungies part if they did not have a health bar and bungie is not stupid so there will be a health bar

The question isnt about having no health, it's about the health bar. Everyone knows there will be health, but there may not be an indicator.

It's getting tiring trying to explain the argument. NO ONE thinks there will be no health

It is unknown if there will be a health bar

P.S. Stop flaming, no one is insulting anyone here but you.

I wouldn't mind not being able to see the Health Bar, but just as long as the health itself is something significant. Not just another couple of shots and you're down as people are saying.

And what little true health you do have isn't important enough to have in a bar.

Does that make some since for you little guy? If it doesn't feel free to post another flame.

ok, if there is no health bar than know one would know if there ready to die or not so what would be the point in having health if you dont have a bar to look at how much health you have left. there will be a health bar because how would you know when to back down from a fight, when to take cover when to think of a new approch of the fighting. just use your -blam!- head and think of how bad it would suck with out a health bar. there will be one. dumbass

Hey, get the sand outta yer v-agina and calm down.

The way it's been said now, you have a small amount of health, but if you survive an attack where you lose your shields, once your shields recharge your health is full as well.

It can be done, that is how it has been done to this point, but it may change before release.

Just wait and see.
