Halo Reach PC über alles!

The multiple Halo 1s is entirely for LAN parties, no one else owns it anymore.

Um yeah, About that...

I remember i had to use an FPS limiter to fix horrible mouse jerking for Halo 2, but it was fun. I'd love Halo 3 and reach for the PC!

Halo Reach sucks, it doesn't deserve to be on PC.

Halo 3 on the other hand does. :D

Oh, really. Halo Reach is better than Halo 3 in every way. Why put an outdated game on the pc if you can put the very newest and best game on it instead?

nah, Halo Reach's engine isn't very updated as you think.

We could easily have everything Halo 3 and Reach's game engine, made on the PC together.

The idiocity in this thread makes me want to ragepunch my monitor. Spartancheese, do you know what a -blam!- troll is? It's someone purposefully baiting a controversial and uneducated opinion to get a rise out of as many people as possible.

What people are doing here is stating valid, legitimate, and educated opinions and you're just flaming them and calling them "trolls" because they simply have a different opinion, when they are far from it. In turn, you are getting a rise out of them because you're doing this, and it's making everyone really -blam!- pissed because we can't tell whether you're this -blam!- retarded or trolling US.

Also, your grammar is terrible. NEWSFLASH: YOU DO NOT NEED TO CAPITALIZE EVERY FIRST LETTER IN A WORD. HOLY -blam!-, IT JUST MAKES TYPING SLOWER AND HARDER TO READ. IT'S NOT A "HABIT", IT'S JUST COMPLETELY -blam!- RETARDED, AND DOESN'T MAKE YOU LOOK ANY MORE EDUCATED OR DISTINGUISHED. ALSO, SPACES AFTER PUNCTUATION MARKS, CAPITALIZATION OF THE FIRST WORD IN EVERY SENTENCE, YOUR IS NOT YOU'RE, UR IS NOT YOU'RE, YUR IS NOT YOU'RE, THERE IS NOT THEY'RE, THEIR IS NOT THERE. ETC. ETC. THINGS I LEARNED IN FIRST -blam!- GRADE. /caps

Also:
-Native 1080p
-60FPS

Have you ever PLAYED a decent PC FPS before? Locked to 60FPS? NATIVE res of a 16:9 ratio? What the -blam!-, you're asking for H2V!

Either way, I'm glad you don't post in this thread anymore. Did you JUST visit KnowYourMeme for the first time?

Btw, Halo isn't really built for the PC anymore, the game isn't about precision anymore. If it does get ported to PC, I'd like a Quake/CS:S-like console, where you can customize the game to your heart's content (I hate having only 10 options for mouse sensitivity - what's worse is that my mouse has a high DPI, making it naturally fast).

Im ready to help Bungie for testing close beta game on PC and will report bugs and also other. I hope you allow me to test it. You're best BUNGIE. XD
WIN7 - 64bit - CPU: - : i5 Core 3ghz~ 4x
GPU: - : ATI 5XXX 1gb
RAM: - : 4gb DRR3
Harddisk: - : 500gb
This Model i did with high Poly. check it out this Link below. I have some experience in 3DS MAX .

I think is a good idea to make Halo Reach for PC, i'm ready to pay. But there is one PROBLEM. Microsoft wont release Halo: Reach for Pc the reason is THE PIRATE. So what i have to say. The best solution is to make Halo Reach for PC without Single campaign. Release only Multiplayer Paket for PC and the Bungie or Microsoft dont need to invest much money for Halo Reach PC.
Halo Reach is the Multiplayer game, so you dont need to make singleplayer for PC. Just like other games for example BF BC2. Prerequisite is puchase a KEY for Multiplayer thats it.
I still play Halo 1 and 2 but it was great to release some new for PC like Halo Reach. By the way when microsoft have released Halo 2 for PC. They sold very a few copies and maybe this is it why they dont want to make a Halo Reach for PC nor Halo 3, ODST. So what do you think about it write down.

nah, if piracy was really the issue then the easy answer would be to make it only possible to be able to LAN and be able to play on the internet when you put your key in... Like it already is basically :P. Take away that key limiter they have on GFWLive and make it unlimited but of course the same key can't sign in twice. Simple answer! Also make a good port so people actually wanna buy the game XD

Games for Windows Live is proven to have anti-piracy capabilities, and no one has ever key generated a GFWL title.

So piracy isn't the concern.

I believe the concern here is, Microsoft wants to sell their crappy Xbox 360 hardware, if they made this game on PC, then everyone wouldn't be buying Xbox 360, because they will see the PC does a better job at running Halo.

Maybe should we vote?
XD
Not we only need Halo Reach but also Aliens on Mars need them too. =)

War is Human Nature, without War there cannot be peace, without peace there cannot be war.

they should make it like halo Custom Edition with a very expanded map construction kit that's actually ingame like the forge, but as I stated just abit earlier have it expanded so that you can create maps and it also have basic map templates to build ontop of or just start from scratch.

Let there be CHAOS!

For some reason I feel like replying to this thread. There isn't going to be a Halo Reach for PC, and if somehow it actually is ported, it's just going to be another Halo 2 in terms of quality.

Unfortunately ever since Halo 2, the Blam engine has been completely borked for anything but Xbox/consoles. Sure they could fix some things like getting rid of aim assist (though they won't), but the engine, from the ground up, was written to run at 30 fps. This means animations, movement, physics, everything polls at 30 times per second and was built specifically to be this way. The rendering can run at a different rate to provide more than 30 fps but on the Xbox this would've likely made everything look jittery and glitchy, so they locked the rendering at 30 fps. For the PC, I think what Hired Gun did to fix this was to interpolate each frame against the previous one based on the rendering fps, to smooth the motion. This extra overhead, combined with all the Xbox-specific optimizations being dropped (obviously), slowed down the game considerably on the PC platform. Plus, the interpolation between frames introduced a bit of input latency and I imagine this probably screwed with the mouse movement as well. So the engine itself is inherently sluggish and made for console gamers who don't care.

Now I'm not disputing that Hired Gun did a bad port job - they did, but Microsoft and Bungie are the ones who are to blame. Bungie built the engine with 0 consideration for other platforms, and Hired Gun was rushed by Microsoft and likely told to withhold features/content from the PC version like Gearbox was for Halo 1.

In the end, Halo is built to be a console game from the ground up and Microsoft are greedy -blam!-s. To get a truly decent Halo PC game would require Microsoft to put some real honest-to-God effort into rebuilding the engine specifically for the PC, not hacking together some quick fixes and seeing if the damn thing compiles. We need PC Cpu/Gpu optimizations, reworked game content built with variable fps in mind, and all the simple things that make a PC game a PC game. Microsoft isn't going to put forth the effort for any of this.

well then if Micro$oft cannot take their time to really make great PC games, other companies are starting to do the same thing too, then I see PC Gaming really slowing down here soon. PC gaming will never die of course but since we receive less games than those on the console, we will see more people leave the PC Community to the Xbox Community just to play those games that us PC Gamers do not have. I still wonder why Micro$oft didn't switch on to another console or announce a new console by now... All I see is them milking the Xbox 360 for all it is worth right now and leaving the PC Community with scraps *crappy ports*.

Unfortunately, we are still left to guess what MS will do next in terms of the PC. Because frankly (Based on what MS' stance on PC gaming was and is), It seems pretty bi-polar to me.
