Dear Bungie,
I love the fact that you are still working on halo 2 and making it always interesting online. It is great to see a company still take intrest in an old project. But i have one problem with this new playlist.
I bought this game and bought xbl for 2 reasons:
1) For sheilds
2) Radar
Other games that dont have radar are fine, mainly cause you cant kill someone in the back with one hit. But without radar you cant tell, and when your fighting someone, all of a sudden you die cause someone punched you once.
I am one of those folks who live off radar, and thus i never get assasinated. I seem to kill so many folks cause they dont use it but i do, and i can identify what tatic they use or what they have by the radar. (sword charges or disipears, which mean there crouch walking) I know a lot of the pro players dont use radar, but thats because they get pwned all the time by it. (usually)
I am A hardcore player, i an a 34 legit, and I personally think that radar should be allowed.
EVERYTHING else is perfect, even down to certin maps only having 1 gametype. (cause it is not so much fun with everything else ;) ) Please re-consider the rardar option. Thank you for reading this, and please at least test it with radar to, at least then i know you guys gave a shot at it.
Your humble, loyal Bungie soldiar,
John________
First off I would like to thank Bungie for putting together this awesome playlist. After months of debate you guys have come up with a legitimate compromise that should satisfy everyone across the board. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised as to how popular this thing is going to be. You must realize that this is what many of your most dedicated fans have been waiting for.
Now in regards to the above post, it is a well know fact that playing without motion sensor improves the overall intensity and pacing of the game dramatically. It requires one to be more aware of his/her surroundings as well as put more emphasis on proper decision making tactics while cutting down on camping. In other words it takes more skill to play without radar and most would agree with the notion that (skill = fun). If your getting ambushed then I suggest you work on getting better at anticipating your opponent's next move as well as recruiting reliable teammates to watch your back. It's named Team Hardcore for a reason and I for one have very little to complain about as far as this playlist goes.
