Too bad I already have a headset. Would it really be worth the $50?

i dont think so... maybe just for the look as this green colors and Halo2 logo on the side... don't think it will change anything from the original headset

It's made by Plantronics, the best headset company. Yes it's worth it.

So are the orginal headsets. What added value are you getting for $20 more? Other than Halo 2 on the side.

Or what? You'll release the dogs? Or the bees? Or the dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you?
Well do your worst. [DOOR SHUTS!} Hey, he locked the door.

i think these headsets will probably come with the LE halo 2 game for who ever pre-ordered it. i heared that somewhere on the HBO page. so if youve already preordered the LE game then your gettin a good deal.

It's not worth $50. If I want to spend that, I'll go buy the wireless headset.

Its cool.
I wouldn't spend $50 on it, and if its not gonna be cheaper or come with the LE, I'll just wait a while for it to go on sale.

I'll be getting one, but only because i don't have Live yet, but by NOV 9th i will, so perhaps i should wait and by that set.

Yeah, it WILL be worth the cash--if you have surround sound ON while playing LIVE, that is. It has the noise-cancelling feature which--if you haven't been following the latest trend in headphone technology--automatically adjusts the audio in your ear to compensate for ambient sounds. Hence, you will be able to keep your surround on to keep track of baddies on your 6 while still keeping up with your team's chatter. Otherwise, I wouldn't get it, but I've been worrying about how I'm going to manage the LIVE headphones with surround sound ("am I gonna have to turn the volume way down while on LIVE?"). This is the solution. Bungie was looking out yet again. [I know that Bungie brought in another company to manufacture, but I'm sure they requisitioned the product with the noise-cancelling feature.]

It is not even officially made by microsoft nor is it endorsed by Mircrosoft or Bungie

I dont know about the communication technology bla bla bla stuff but if it is more durable (doesnt break as easily) then ill probably get one. The other headsets break after the slightest tap hits them.
