OK, I plotted all of the numbers on the "fun stuff" page of i love bees.

I saw somebody plotted the numbers, but it didn't look like this.
If you ask me, it looks like America. In fact, it kind of looks like plottings of America's most populous cities!

Check it out: http://img4.imgspot.com/u/04/223/18/map.JPG

Boo yah! We're getting invaded!

Smart boy!
Good job. Looks pretty promising. Thanks for finding out. Also, if you look at earth in the Halo 2 Ad you see America. In the area of the biggest cities there are also lots of explosions.

You might be right.

There's some dots where Washnington should be... where's Redmond in Washington? I don't have a map at the moment.

Yep! I thought it would represent the attack on planet earth, but it makes no sense that the attack would only be in the U.S. Also, in the trailer, the attack seems to be worlwide when looking out the window over earth just before MC jumps out.

Redmond is really close to Seattle. And Seattle might be a city with high population. Here's something for you:

Redmond, WA

Hope that helps!

Mmm...one of the blue dots is at least close to Redmond.

True. Think about it, though. Why would Bungie have the Covenant hail down on Redmond? Wouldn't that be a little ironic?
Maybe as an "Easter Egg," but any other reasons seem fairly senseless to me.

Reminder: the plotted points (unfortunately) don't prove anything. It's still just an assumption.

Those coordinates are latitude and longitude in decimal form. They don't make a picture of America, they are exact points in America. They are centralized in major cities, and Washington State *cough* bungie headquarters *cough* ( :

That is pretty funny, indeed. In fact, there is so much untouched land in Canada that it doesn't make much sense for the Covenant to attack it. They want to kill people, not trees....

As for the "America only" thing: the Covenant will definitely attack Africa aswell. I do believe that battles will be fiercest in Africa. New Mombasa, Zanzibar, all in Africa.

Note that I am not with the whole ilovebees crap. I was attracted to the thread by the notion that I MUST look at it, hehe. Anyway, maybe the Covies fear Redmond, and want to take it out first...but they can't because Bungie's too cool.

Because the site is obviously a marketing device as it appears at the end of the recent Halo 2 trailer. The countdown shown at Ilovebees.com will end on the 24th and most likely we'll get some form of marketing roll out or whatever, probably only in the United States at first.

And as has already been pointed out, of course the points look like a map of the US because they are latitude/longitude markers for US cities.

That reminder wasn't only made for you. It was for all those gullible people that tend to believe unproven information too easily. That's why I put it under there. Also, I don't believe that you are one of those people.

This is just to say: I don't care about ilovebess either, but I thought this is pretty interesting.

Kinda of like in the story line through the books, the rock/crystal with coords and location as refrenced with the stars, this could be the same but I have to ask.... how do they expect players and fans to pick up on this? I mean really, who think's "Hey, lots of numbers, lets see if I plot them, if they make a map". I'm not dissing or anything, I'm very impressed, but how did you come up with an idea like that?

It is interesting, I'll say that. Plus it isn't entirely focused on ILB itself, which is good.
