Alright, Ive played Halo Ce for XBOX since day one and halo2 since it came out. I enjoy both games, but am starting to get tired of halo2 due to modders, quitters, screaming kids, etc etc... I've been thinking about getting halo pc, although, I know its not going to look good on my computer, but still want to play halo online. So my question would be, is it fun and enjoyable, has alot of people use the halo2 mod? In general, what goes on in the online halo pc community?

Well Halo Pc has its fair share of modders, hackers, tkers quitters and screaming kids, but it has over 100 players online nightly so there is plaenty to chose from to find the right game. Once you find the right server and people the games are very enjoyable. The Halo2 mods are done in Halo Custom Edition (CE) but there are usually less then 100 people on at a time so it never took off. You need a highend system to see the full graghics but is playable on lower systems. I would have at least a DSL connection for Multiplayer.

Coming from an Xbox one thing is going to frustrate the crap out of you. LAG. The port was not done well and there is lag in the net code. You must learn to lead your shots to hit your target. This takes practice and skill but can be learned fairly quickly. Give it a shot, what do you have to lose $20?

halo pc has its ups and downs.but the mods arent as bad.if you know how to use the mod in the game your alright.but also there are some cool mods when you dont feel like playing for real.Lag is a real major problem and also tkeres, like they have -blam!- names like lack of sex. There are also racists, many religious people, and other sorts like that, but at least you cant have bad feedback or anything like that.

Go for it man, it's excellent. Never seen any hacks on EU-BUNGIE servers yet, just sometimes a lot of TK'ing and/or Spaen Killing. If that happens just leave the server, there are plenty more to choose from.

Play the free Halo PC demo. Slayer/CTF on Bloodgulch is what I've been playing for almost 2 years! There are several hundred servers on any any given time.

Install it and see how well the game runs on your system before you decide to shell out $20.

Try before you buy. There are several sites you can DL a demo of halo PC for free. If you just want to know if your system can handle halo, this is probably your best bet. Here's one.
