If you don't know how to use it, everything seems broken. Hreach is a mindless game of killing; H2 was a game of teamwork and communication. BTB for H2 was like no other MP experience ever and it's a shame you never were able to experience it correctly (going off your H2 is broke comment).
H2 was a mindless game of killing if you wanted it to be but it had that second level of great game play if you were to venture off to BTB and the gameplay could handle the ways we were using it.
Hreach cant handle BTB interactions, the communication that is needed, the smoothness of the game that is needed, the balance of gameplay that is need, the movements speeds and vehicle speeds that are needed, etc. H2 for life.
You have me mistaken, I knew the super bounces, and how to use the button glitches, you pretty much had to know them or else you'd face getting killed by people using them with no real way to fight back. At the end of the day, though, the button glitches, like them or not, are just that, glitches. When I say Halo 2 is broken I'm not talking broken as in terms of one team spawning with an advantage, I'm saying broken as in the game was full of holes, exploits, glitches, and bugs.
As for your whole argument of how deep and rich Halo 2's multiplayer was, I simply laugh. Halo 2's level of depth might be acceptable now, and even more 'in depth' than other games today according to you, but it doesn't change the fact that Halo 2's formula was a greatly streamlined version of Halo CE's setup, which was already a greatly simplified and dumbed down version of other FPS games on the PC market at the time.
I'm not saying you're wrong for liking halo 2, just saying that your arguments are highly biased and based more in your opinion rather than fact.
