in this one microsoft game magazine, it says that there is a covenant sniper. the stuff about the german magazine in hbo ISN'T bs. if they knew the magazine wasnt real, why would they give info?

God... I'm not saying the magazine is fake, I'm saying the guy may be a fake. And personally, with the information released I want him to be a fake. Tricks!?!?!?! wtf?!?!?! What kind of damn tricks, I want to know, because I don't want Halo 2 to be ruined with these kinds of things.

I'm sure Bungie know what they are doing. It will add to the gameplay in some way I bet! ...I hope.

Ya... but I don't want tricks on like the warthog, and the only tricks I would like to see on the Banshee would be a loop and maybe a barrel roll, as well... I guess that is all you could do, or all that makes sense.

And I definitely do not want to be able to do like backflips and that stuff... I would hate that... I don't care how useful it would be... I would hate it... and you would not be able to convince me other wise.

Edit: And I guess you are very right about the banshee stuff because the dogfights in Halo 1 where kinda lame... it was basically whoever got bored first, not much to it... other than spinning. And I wouldn't really mind because I'll be either on foot with my BR... or driving around in my warthog, ATV, or ghost.

ill be laughing when the warthog can do cool tricks, so get over it. tricks would make banshee dogfights cool, so it would do the same for warthogs and ghosts.

Ermmm... what kind of tricks are you suggesting to do with the warthog... I liked the driving nice and simple how it was before...

Edit: And technically with the way it was before, you could do "tricks" they just required more than pressing a single button.

Slides and spins using the E-brake. The warthog now has tighter steering so you have to use the E-Brake to do slides.

But those aren't really tricks... you could already do slides (obviosly). And spins... you just hold the thumbstick to one direction and accelerate. I want it so you (the player), have to figure out the "tricks" and learn how to use them... not just tap the d-pad.

Well I agree. Bungie has said they want experienced drivers to do things inexperienced ones can't do. I don't think the Warthog will have anything else other than the E-brake. The Ghost might be able to tilt to one side with the press of the D-pad. In Halo you could lift up the front with A and now you may be able to choose which side to raise.

I do not think Bungie will have press the right D-pad and to a 720.

The only problem about the d-pad ghost thingy would be how would move and press the d-pad at the same time. Perhaps you press "A" and the direction you move in would lift up, that would be interesting, and definitely something I could live with. As I said, as long as you can't do back flips on foot I'll be happy.
