You seen whats coming out this month alone?
FEAR. This stands to be damned good. And, quake 4.
Good point, and yet one more reason why we shouldn't be wasting either our time or our money on a H2 PC port. Its dated, old. Why pay new game prices for a game we know will not play as well as its competitors, look as good as other games, and won't be supported after release.
Halo 2 for PC is a waste of money, even if they do ever port it. What's worse, they know we know it. They've waited too long; let all the Xbox complaints seep into the minds of PC players. People know the Xbox version was a mess in multiplayer, and still is. They know any PC version, once released, will not get priority over an Xbox game in development. it's typical M$ mentality. Promise the best three years before release, let people pay insane sums of money based on this belief, and then start working on the next program that will solve "all the problems" with what they have now.
By the time you buy anything from M$ (and Bungie, it's lacky) it's already--always--outdated versus cometitors.
Example: Vista. Show me one thing it will offer on release next year that Linspire hasn't offered for three months.
Halo Combat Evolved was the last great game from a company that no longer exists. The Bungie we knew is dead. They don't make PC games anymore; they make what M$ tells them to, how they are told to. And we all know what kind of "sticklers" M$ is for quality control.
I agree with every mod who shuts down these discussions. Discussion of Halo 2 PC ports is a watse of time. Even if it happens, most PC players won't waste their time on it anymore. I mean, why would we? Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
