Don't know why they wasted space explaining how the bleed through and assist systems work, I had them pretty much pegged from day one. The lack of bleed through really promotes sprint rushing, and if they can melee you before you can get a decent number of shots off (which is likely), then even if you match their melee or get your 4th shot (assuming DMR) on them as their melee time resets, you both are on equal ground, despite your multiple shots and melee on him compared to his one melee.
Bleed through has been in all of the previous Halos, I don't know why they would decide to change such a basic game mechanic that nobody has complained about.
The assist are also an issue that I wanted fixed, not explained. 40% damage to get an assist is way too much. I don't care if you make the assists carry much less weight in the points system, I would rather it show up that I got the 15 assists I deserve than the 5 that did a bunch of damage.
I think it would really promote general teamwork more from the loners in the playlists if they knew that every time they put shots on somebody it would count for something.
Also, why the removal of Slayer Pro? Is our only option in arena now going to be Slayer DMR? I wouldn't mind as much if the MLG playlist was announced as one of the updates, but since it wasn't I don't see the reasoning behind removing the gametype.
On another note, though, those forge building were pretty nice, I though the frigate was from campaign for a second.
