Everytime i try to run halo and start a network server, it says gathering exception data.... and then the game closes.

Ive just downloaded a modded blood gulch and applied bitmaps and sounds to it - could that be the problem? i used ppf-o-matic to apply the files to the .map file.

It worked before i applied the .ppf's to it.

does anyone know how to fix this? i really want to try out the mod.

By the way, the other mods i have installed work properly.

Is that mod made for custom edition only perhaps?

it was in the halo PC forum at halomods.com so no.

and like i said - the .map file works

then i applied the sounds.ppf and bitmaps.ppf to the .map file and thats when i hit the problem

but thx anyway

You prolly just got a corrupted file with the mod. reinstall halo and the prob should be fixed

ok, hopefully you backed up your bloodgultch.map. restore it (if you didn't back it up, you have reinstall halo PC to fix the map)
next time, apply the bloodgultch.ppf AND ONLY THE bloodgultch.ppf to bloodgultch.map. sounds.ppf goes to sounds.map, and bitmaps.ppf goes to bitmaps.ppf.
that should help.....
