I feel the same way B. Things get done when you do something about it. I don't think you have been disrespectful in any way, you just want to be heard. What the hell is wrong with that?
Halo is my favorite online game and Bungie are my favorite server's. Like you, I just want something done about the current problems with their servers.
Halo PC players will go on playing regardless of what Bungie does. (Maybe thats why no progress has been made on the issue.) It sure would be nice to have the old Bungie back.
As for grammar, this isn't english class, who cares if you misspell. To critisize someone on a few mispelled words is a waste of everybody's time.
I will continue to press the issue, cause, I have the time and it's a worthy cause.
We helped line their pockets, and they owe us some kind of response.

Peace

To quote:

"You fail to answer most of my points in the last post."

I was going to spare you that, but...

"Point one: You can start critising me when you actually post in other threads other than in ones bashing me. Its funny how everyone but goweb and another agrees with me in here."

Answer: I have posted in other threads. The fact that a majority may agree with you doesn't necessarily mean you and they are right. Intelligent AND experienced people seem to be a minority here.

"Point two: I have seen you make a fair share of grammer mistakes and spelling, but I dont point it out. Why? Because Im not some total grammer freak, Im posting in a casual internet forum. Its also odd that so many people are worse than me, yet you dont say anything about them."

Answer: I never make grammar mistakes. And if I have, it was a typo...an accident. However, the mistakes you make are simply because you don't know the difference between the right and wrong way.

"Point three: If a mod gave or whoever gives a relevant argument, and proves themselves correct, I will admit I was wrong, and apologise."

Answer: They have proven themselves right. However, you lost the reasoning for a relevant argument long ago.

"Point four: If someone chooses to blatently lie to me or treat me like Im stupid, then I shall swear. Its me, the way I am, and I never said I was perfect. Its a discussion board, you dont like it report it or stop whining."

Answer: They've already given you answers. The fact of you accusing them of lying is purely based on assumption, not fact.

"Point five: Halo PC savior? I think not, I just want a decent game without tking, AFKs, badnetcode, etc. This could have all been fixed, and still could if someone got their finger out and bungie put pressure on microsoft for some resources. Or at least tried. The halo community gets ignored, and not just in the forums. Like someone said, for a game thats sold 5 million copies, its got the worst support ever seen."

Answer: Life isn't perfect. If you're having such a hard time over a game, then god knows how you'll cope later in life with more important issues.

Finally, to quote you once more:

"And talk about hippocrite. Your there, slagging me off badly, from behind a screen."

I based that on the fact that you spend a lot of time here in the forums, but I do not. I only visit the forums once, maybe twice every 1-2 months. I accomplish things, and that is the reason why I'm not here half as much as you.

There are your answers Mr B. See you in a month.

Mr B, I agree. Halo has problems that need to be addressed. I also agree that Bungie, Microsoft and Gearbox are not responding to those who report these problem through the proper--official--channels.

Idryll, I don't agree with you. I don't see you helping people in these forums. Are you PMing people with these pearls of wisdom? Unfortunate if you are, because it denies the rest of us the benifit of your experience. But I value your point. It is extremely disheartening to see that most of the posts in the Maw have degenerated into an anit-Bungie sentiment. It's unfortunate that all the more rrecent posts are only about lag issues, hackers, rascists, TeamKillers, Away From Gamers, and the like. In fact a new gamer, considering halo or another Bungie PC game, would probably think twice after reading these constant Bungie bashes.

But that's not the fault of the players. Thats the fault of Bungie and M$ for not responding to us.

This forum was created so people could talk about Halo PC. When there are good things to talk about, people do. When there are technical questions, people ask them. When the servers turn to slag and everyone in authority emote: shrugs us...we -blam!-.

You talk about people doing something about the problem. What have you done about it? How many emails have you sent to Bungie? Microsoft? Gearbox? When was the last time you contacted someone about the lag issues? When was the last time you asked someone to fix this damnable aimbot situation?

There is a simple solution to your problem Idyll. If you don't like these threads, don't read them. There is also a more complex solution, but far more permanent: get the powers that be off their butts so we can see some results! In short, put up or shut up.

Thank you.

Like Mr B said, keep the personal comments to PMs.

We all must understand that halo pc is over 2 years old. Only a few games continue to get patches and support for that long.

Still, this game is popular for it's age. There are 600+ servers with 2000+ players almost every day. This game can and will die if the new problems (and old) don't get fixed.
