Right now I am trying to create a theme for a bungie.net groups but what i really want to know is if anyone has ever made one?
I would just like to know is all.

Plus, does anyone have any idea where I could get some good quality pictures of covenant elites while still being under bungie and microsoft. And if someone has created a group theme could you give me some tips?

Yes they have. Not to mention the whole stickied thread with more than 100 posts.

You may also have noticed a few of the member here with custom avatars that are not moderators. They got that reward for an accepted theme.

Just don't expect to get it accepted right away, if at all. It can take a loooong time, which is the main reason you don't see too many Theme Masters around here.

¶ I am guessing you already have the Theme builder, most likely how you heard of this.

In answer to your first question, yes there have been somewhere like, 6 or 7 people that have made a theme and had it accepted.

Psyched - Made the Myth Theme.

Sir Fragula - Made another theme that I never remember...

Those are just 2 guys that made a theme. You will notice the special Avatar and the title "Theme Master" under their names. Those are 2 nifty perks.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

For your second question, I would try the screenshots section of bungie. Use PS and crop out some elites. Also, http://www.google.com is your friend.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

In response to your last question, This group has been made to help out aspiring Theme builders but the previous Theme Builders.

You can also check out This thread at the top of this page for more help.

When its done, check out This Thread for submittion.

I hope this helps, please ask if you need any other assistance. The Theme Masters group is open, so go ahead and ask all you want there for free, well, mostly free those theme master have some pretty odd characteristics and "pasttimes" which they love to revisit... ¶

I believe that one was the Marathon Terminal theme. Has anybody ever shut off the lights and stared at that for a while? It's blindingly awesome.

The what? Chapter themes have to be Bungie related, sorry.

Either by reading the Halo novels or paying obsessive-compulsive attention to the game instruction booklets, game guides, and the "Conversations in the Universe" booklet in Halo 2.

-- Steve can't recall if the "Sangheili/Unggoy/Lekgolos/etc" nomenclature is in the regular edition H2 rulebook or just in the Special Edition (Covenant-themed) one.
