Yeah, I have been here for a while. No one can give a clear and certain answer, and it beats this ILB's b u l l s h i t. I think that xbox is getting kind of old, and there is a lot of lag with Halo already (i.e. the ending tunnel in the maw, the explosions cause lag). I mean, there is no way that there won't be lag in Halo 2. I want this game to run on Xbox 2 because I know it will run perfect if it does.
as for Dualwielding freak, I am really bored. It just crossed my mind because I was looking at XNA video.
People who have tested the beta and played it at E3 say that there was no lag whatsoever, even with an eight on eight match over the Xbox Live, which is the maximum. That is.... amazing... and if it's true... who needs Xbox 2 anyway? Microsoft are becoming like Nintendo; Nintendo once had a great franchise, a good one. But in the last few years, Nintendo (and it's fanboys) seem to be in a universe of their own, where everyone likes Nintendo. For example, Nintendo said its next console will most likely not have online features, because they say gamers don't care for online play. What kind of BS is that? There are almost one million Xbox Live users, and PS2 online play is a big success. Now Microsoft is following in their footsteps; they created a very successful console, the Xbox (like Nintendo had the Gameboy, and other amazing games for their time), and now that they have a chance to beat Sony, they decide to take a step back. They said "Backward compatibilty only helped 10% of the PS2 sales", which may be right on paper, but wrong if you think about it. Because PS2 had bacward compatibility, developers were more familiar with it and developed games for it consistently. They didn't even look at the Xbox, because they were afraid to take a risk. Because of that, people bought PS2, for its huge wealth of games. It wasn't until of late that the Xbox has been successful, with a lot of new games starting on the Xbox, and then being ported to other consoles, if at all. Microsoft is making a mistake.
