It stops spam attacks. Therefore it is effective.

If you're making more than one post a minute, then maybe you should put a little more thought into what you're typing.

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Deal with it. If you didn't get it the first time, it stops you from doing what you want to do...spam. You just don't realise that what you were doing before was spam, due to the fact that your standard of posting is lower than Bungie's.

I LOVE the blam filter. I can't imagine how horrible the forum would be without it.

And the spam filter. It is very effective. You have obviously never witnessed a spam attack. I saw one in New Mombasa awhile back. I was mad. My fanfic usually gets off the front page pretty fast, but that was insane! I PMed Recon, and it was taken care of.

The filter has really helped the Ninjas. They don't have to constantly lock pointless threads, since they are created less now.

Only the paranoid will survive!

It works. And besides, do you really need to post every 50 seconds?

And there is no reaso at all you should use up all your thread uses unless you're organizing a big project, in which case whoever is helping can post it for you.

for those who think i created this thread because i'm against the spam filter, you are WRONG. i actually don't mind the spam filter that much at all, i justed wanted to hear people's opinions on it.

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

It can be inconveniant at times but i'd rather have that than have spammers everywhere ruining the forums for the rest of us. I think it's a brilliant idea.

Seventh Column Contests

it works flawlesly. The only people who have trouble with this are spamers, bumpers, and flamers.
