my friend and I took 2 xbox's to my house and hooked them up to my router... the problem is they both wont connect to xboxlive at the same time, when one is on and the other tries to get it kicks the other person off xboxlive, any suggestions?

Two Xbox's cannot sign on to XBL using the same connection.

That's what http://xbox.com says. Of course i don't have experience with this so I'm not the best person to answer that question.

Facts are the enemy of tru7h....

It kinda makes sense in a way. If they're both behind the same router, they'd both have the same IP address. So when one connects it register that IP with XBL, then when the other tries to connect it's trying with the same IP, so it tries to kick the other one off. It may sound like a flaw in the system, but theres actually a pretty good reason for it. It stops someone spoofing your IP and then recieving the data that was meant for you.

well i think thats how it works anyway.
