First I want to point out that this account is an old one which I only use for writing on Bungie.net with.

Now, I will not bash on HR. I liked the campaign and the fire-fight is playable. The MP is somewhat broken here and there. But hey, which FPS aren't?
But yesterday I felt like its time for some Halo 3 again. Note that I haven't played H3 in a couple of months. The feeling was overwhelming. Wow, it was like I have touched a new game. The control is smooth, the maps is just stunning and the competitive gameplay is perfect. I played the whole day. On matchmaking, which compared to HR flows much better and some random custom 1v1 against friends. I had some problem with the buttons after my short Reach adventure but other than that, I was home. I promised myself that never touch Halo: Reach again. Maybe if the boys want to LAN and we randomly play it, but over XBL my H3 is the king of competitive MP.
So, thank you Halo: Reach for making me realise how much I like Halo 3. Here Here!

Anyone that also feel that the sniper rifle is way too easy to use in HR? When I started play Halo-games I was so horrible that you could call me a "noob" without regrets. I was horrible pretty much until I bought a xbox360 and started playing H3 (late 2008). I learned trough experience and soon I beat some of my friends that destroyed me in H2. It took long time to become good with the Sniper and not until 2010 this summer I considered myself pretty good at it.
I played H2 again and realised how incredible easy the sniper was to use compared to H3. Reach is on the same lame level as H2 when it comes to precision weapons. Every shot hits when I firing the sniper in Reach (Not 100% of course). What I loved with H3 and still do, is the required skill level to enjoy it. I loved the big gap between casual and competitive gamers. But in Reach it feels like that Bungie have reduced the gap on purpose. Do you guys feel the same?

Air force definition of explosives: A loud noise followed by the sudden going away of what was once there a second ago.

I believe it took 2 title updates to perfect Halo 3. As Halo Reach has only recently come out it is being put through it's paces. Bungie will respond and act upon most of the criticism regarding Reach just like they did in Halo 3.

Mark my words, Bungie will make Reach just as perfect as Halo 3, it just needs tweaking.

I hope you are right. Maybe we all need to calm down and wait one year and then make a statement about the game. But as it look now, H3 is the better game pure competitive way. Reach is more a family game that everyone can enjoy.
