Now ive been bored with the bungie site for two weeks now so ive given myself something to look at next time i come on. Anyway who thinks they have the most scratched halo disk, and i dont mean scratched because you've dropped it , i mean because youve played it so much. Personally i think i'm a contender there are plentiful scratches, and one big one occasionally prevents me from loading the two betrayals, which is my fav level too. Anyway your thoughts.

GOt mine two weeks after the game/system came out, and it's still in pretty much mint condition. What were YOU guys doing to them? A little story, I found a Chris Rock DVD on the side of the road, scratched to Hell and Back, cleaned off the dirt and the thing played. It's a pretty good one too.

My friend has one that was played so much that it started to crack around the inside hole.... and now it won't play anymore (and it was very well taken care of)

My family is the worst for stuff like this... My mom and sister just throw dvds on the entertainment center face down when they are done with them. They always leave the tray on the dvd player open and i've even found them using the open dvd tray for a cup holder before... I mean come on people.

What did you do put a knife to it?! my halo disk is still in excellent condition, just dont -blam!- cut it up with knives and stuff, because that will make it all scratchy and unplayable.

i'm making a pact with myself to keep Halo 2 as clean as possible. It might even need a thrown.

Biggest pet peeve right here. Can't stand a scratched disc. I too, don't understand how you can have disc's that look like you used them for sandals or washing your car. Ah, I digress. I've only seen one Halo disc that was damaged. It only played the first level and froze during the second one. Only 2 multi-player maps were playable and not all of the game modes were possible. Not to mention unbelievably long load times.

If your disk gets to dirty, just swap it for one at Rogers Or Blockbluster. Thats what my friend did with KOTOR.

Cool thanks for the replys and that idea of swapping it a blockbuster, but to those that misunderstood the point, most of the disks arent scratched because of us the xbox has a nasty habbit of scratching disks. and halo is scratched an alarming amount from playing. the day that i scratch the halo disk on purpose or accidently when handeling it will be the day tht pigs fly, hell freezes, a new ice age is born and bungie says halo 2 is canceled, if theres a day that all happens then that will be the day i scratch the disk while handaling it.

Ive had my copy since the day Halo was available with the Xbox, but it has also only left my xbox about 15 times, I don't play anything else, so mine is in pretty damn good shape
