two betrayals is deffinitly the hardest map in all of halo and halo 2 campaign. i have beat the whole game on legendary minus two betrayals. ive had the game for like 4 years and i still cant get past it. i cant even get it on hard or normal which is really kinda sad. if any one has an opinion on this map, tips, or shortcuts i would really like to hear them. thanks

well, shotgun(Duh!) and a plasma rifle. Shotgun for flood, rifle for covies. But for the rooms with the energy beem in the center that you have to walk into, mostly as your running like hell out of there, blast all in your way, or find a very remote corner, attract the flood, and blast them as they come looking for you.

Check out hbo and read the legendary walkthough... another thing that helps me win is jumping ontop of everything in the room. ai's are too stupid to follow and on splitscreen my friends get scared that I might get violent if they keep pressing the "a" button on my controller.

just hoard rockets. if you can fill up a spare rocket launcher and stash it somewhere for later. shotguns, rockets, grenades and pistols will get you through.

as for getting out of the room with the generator that quickly fills up with flood... either immediately leg for the door and rocket frag your way out, or run to the other side of the room and hide between that power jumper station looking thing. flood get bored cos they cant find you. once they've spread out then try and sneak out and throw grenades...

Yeah but watch out for the spores that appear once everything else is dead, because when you lose your shields and your finding your way out they attack you :O

its more of the part where it says the tunnels below. those banshees and wraiths are practicly invincible compared to me. and i cant run through cause they hand rockets to the flood like candy.i tried landing and trying to sneak through but the banshees fuel rod cannons have such good aim on legendary. after i get out from under ground the flood and covies are having like an epic battle in the field but it frustrates me that as long as im there, they go on a truce and focus purely on me.

The last part was the most fun for me, I grabbed a banshee, went to the bridge above and rocketed everything below... it was so funny watching the elites, they were running around like idiots while I aimed my sniper right at their heads then switched to my rocketlauncher and fired. I saw a red elite standing still as the rocket went towards him, then there was a flash of light (and lots of gore) and I used my 10x scope and saw him waving him arms around in frustration! I was pretty funny to watch. The covies did a pretty bad job of defending the banshees...

on the indoor fights with flood vs. covies...be patient and wait for the covies to win (they always do) and then rush in and kill them

for beam rooms...if sentinals spawn, make sure you have a plasma pistol and run like hell

for flood rooms...run the flood should be too much of a problem while your shields are

the hardest part of this level is getting the last banshee

to beat this part make sure you keep a ghost alive (unless you want to walk back to the ammo cache) make sure you have a sniper and rocket launcher with you when you charge the last battlefield...all of your focus should be on the wraiths and for gods sake don't try to use the sniper on them. if you run out of rockets it shouldn't be a problem seeing that a lot of flood by the cache carry rockets. as for the fight see point 1

after you take out the wraiths...immediatly get a plasma pistol or rifle (i'd prefer the pistol)
then immediately take out as many elites as you can with the sniper that you should have and always remeber priority order gold, red, blue.

then you just have to fly up kill some sentinals, and go to the beam and the level is over
