This forum used to be good. Stop creating new posts. Just because you think you have a good idea, that doesn't mean anything. Anything you've thought of has already been thought of. Half of you posters just want a post with your name attached to it, but you lack the intelligence to make a interesting topic.

p.s. I know i'm being somewhat hypocritical

I agree that there are too many posts constantly...
It be cool if we could track the threads we have participated in. This would keep more people in the same thread, instead of them all making new posts to talk about the same subject.

For future reference though, come up with valid ideas and it might happen. It's called constructive criticism.

Now was there such a need to post this useless topic in the first place? You're adding fuel to the fire, let it go. Now the mods may lock this sucka.

I do not want to hear anything more about Humans=forerunners, unless it's from a guy who can really back up his claims.

I agree with you. I haven't been a member here for very long at all, but I've visited the place casually for a long time. On most forums you can leave for an hour and come back and still see most of the same topics up, but on this forum people post so much useless crap that an actual useful thread is washed away in about ten minutes. A lot of people think it is cute to make a little picture using Microsoft Photoshop and make a topic saying "Halo 2 Screenshot!!!". It might be funny once, but eventually it just gets old. The ilovebees topic was a good example of how much useless stuff people post. I read through all of the posts in that huge topic and I'd say one out of every five had some useful information.

they should adopt the Halo.bungie.org forum policy on ILB's, pretty much zero tolerance for it but they point you in the direction of suitable sites:

e.g

or

But its not like you can blame any one group of people. You could blame bungie for not releasing anything new and giving us more to talk about. You could blame the mods for not locking enough topics. You could blame yourself for letting this go on. You could blame new people who don't look through these pages. But you also can't blame bungie they don't release much info only cause they wanna build anticipation. O r the mods cause the topics follow the rules even if it is full of repeated info. You can't blame yourself cause you don't have the power to stop people from making threads that have already been answered. Finally you can't blame new people or peoploe who want questions answered its not there fualt there is no search option on this site or the fact that they get information slower or don't know where to look. Just calm down and don't worry about it all and ignore stuff.

Yeah, might pay the Flood page a visit, or any of the other forums - not the Maw though ;-)

Well maybe when Halo 2 comes out it will get better. there isn't anything else to do but speculate right now, which means that peoples toes (metaphorically speaking) are going to get stepped on when they are posting a topic. Because someone may have just posted the same thing only about 5 min. before them, which means that it is off of the first page in a matter of a couple of minutes. and the person posting that topic doesn't know that it was just posted. So why waste your time doing this?? I know it gets annoying, but you posting this isn't going to change anything. so people will just keep doing this until something new comes out. Sorry if i seem a little brash, but you complain about people posting the same things over again. Well people have posted this before as well, so shouldn't you stop doing it??
