That is -- allowing fellow marines (A.I.) to drive the warthogs while you're a passenger, or has that particular feature been removed since it was first announced? The reason I ask this is because I don't seem to see that feature mentioned in the Halo 2 FAQ anymore as it used to. I sincerely hope it stayed, does anybody know if it's still there during the Single Player campaign?

Are you sure of this? If so then that's great, it's about time those damned marines done some driving.

i dont want it to be like the marine drives the hog around and you just sit and mow people down you have no choice of where you want to go. it would be cool if you could tell the marien where to drive, besauce most likly you will get in the hog gun and the marine will folow a pre set drive path and you wont be able to expolre unless of course you could choose if you want to drive or gun

Yeah they will. The question what you really need to ask is if they're anygood. Are they going to get you flipped over, grenaded. Probably better off playing with someone on Co-op.

That, would take an IMMENSE amount of AI code, and, well, frankly, AI code in this age, time, and day sucks. The most you could get in Halo 1 was marines hijacking ghosts and doing their fly-path while following you, it'd need to be entirely SCRIPTED if they were to drive you to a set location, from the path you take (unless there are multiple paths and its randomized which one you'll take), to what you run over (again, random, depending on when the enemies spawn and if you hit ONE thing that messes up the intended speed.
