Subject: DLC Maps wont play after XBOX repair

I've bought almost all the DLC maps, but can't play them now. Yes my XBOX360 was sent back for the RR of death repair and now can't play the maps. I've deleted them and downloaded them again, cleared my cache and made sure the serials for my profile and deck are there. Nothing works.

One other clue is that I've moved, but the maps should work under my profile either way. Any new ideas would be greatly appreciated as we can't play the maps we enjoy!

The trouble with keeping an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Sounds like possibly they reset or replaced the hard drive, you might need to transfer your licences.

If that's not it then I got no clue, sorry.

I have downloaded the maps onto my hard drive after erasing them. I also made sure that the licenses come back to both my console and my account/profile.

After looking at my Bungie account, I've noticed that I can't play the DLC maps after moving into my new apartment. So yes the maps worked after the repair, but not after moving. Does anyone have any ideas on how moving would effect usage of DLC maps?

Thank you in advance for any help...

Ok....I can play the maps on custom games but not on matchmaking. Even though the maps are there for custom and forge games, on matchmaking it flashes one or more players do not have the maps required........any ideas?

I've tried everything including migrating the licenses, which didnt need to be done. So after moving into another aprtment using different cable provider, the DLC maps wont work on multiplayer, baffling!!

You could buy Halo ODST and with it you recieve a multiplayer disc for Halo 3. It has all the DLC on it already but is limited to MP, forge and theater.

I'm trying that now and will post the results. Thank you for the idea hope it works!

I've tried everything including migrating the licenses,

Note: On Xbox.com, you had to have been logged on as the account you ORIGINALLY PURCHASED the DLC on. It doesn't matter what account you use NOW. You have to do the migration on the account you first DLed everything on.

Anywho, as for them not working after moving? Yeah sounds like a disk problem. Getting Halo 3: Mythic is your best bet like they said.

Yes I'm using the same account and can verify the original purchase of DLC maps on my account by accessing the account management tab.

The only thing that's different is my location. The serials match the deck, my XBox live gamertag is the only one I've ever used and the disk is in mint condition with no scratches.

Just doesn't make sense that the maps are there for everything but multiplayer. Thank you for your ideas, but none of them have worked so far. I'm staying hopefull to find a solution though!
