Me. I'm special. I love me. - Me

Only about two years ago I played this game all the time and there were around 800 servers, with about 3/4 of them having a good stock of players, and now when I play I only see around 400, and only 1/4 of them have any players. All my favorite servers are gone and the game doesn't feel the same without the awesome community.
What has happened?

Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. It's a lot more fun to play with people from The Maw and people I know than random noobs.

Halo PC has had an amazing run. Who would have guessed Halo PC would still be played online longer than Halo 2 on Xbox?

The community is getting smaller and smaller. Most players have moved on to other things, but some are still there. There are a few like myself who stick around to play the occasional game, but sadly, many of the forums and groups have become inactive over the years.

Yeah, I just checked, there is officially under 400 servers. Give it one more year and it will be less than 100-150

I remember the endless games on Bloodgulch with 15 flag caps, all vehicles enabled, with Red team camping the cliff and me with an MA5B Assault Rifle, 4 Frags, and a Flamethrower, M6D Pistol, and M90 Shotgun (12 rounds). I remember when the only way to keep the enemy from using the Scorpion was to kill it, steal it, and horde it. I remember when it wasn't about Rank or cR or what armor you had, it was about how many of your friends you killed. Yeah, I remember Halo: Combat Evolved.

You never know. With company-run servers being admin-less and generally very... poor quality (a la MW2, or Halo 2), Pirates could very easily make Halo PC famous again.

Me and a friend (Master Gunz) had a full server for 6 solid hours with just my mods. And then my was-more-for-self-amusement-not-public-use Zero-Gravity Boarding Action came on and cleaned the server out. Easy come easy go, lol

BUNGIE AND MICROSOFT FAILS HALO 2 VISTA.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Halomodding community is officially dead, there's nothing going for it now.

R.I.P Halo P.C you served us well.

Halo PC is by no means dead. It's not even in a coma. It's just been living in secrecy for the past few years, and I am but one of many witnesses. On Halo PC what I spend most of my time doing is Stunting rather than killing though. I sugguest you drop in one of those servers and see what it's all about. But keep in mind these few statements: Respect the server host and do whatever he/she says, don't kill unluess you are permitted to do so, and, please no hog doors.

50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

People still play Custom Edition 1.00.
I got 16/16 people in a custom ed server with a mapvote mod for hours until it crashed.

You don't kick a man when they're down, so don't teabag me when I'm dead!

Halo PC introduced me to Blood Gulch, which remains my favourite map in any FPS game
My laptop can't really run it well enough though :/
