you have a ok cpu, your ram is ok too, but your video card isnt that good. actually it sucks for halo. you need more ram, a better video card, and, if your computer is able, go and get an athlon xp at least +2400 class most motherboards that support duron should support athlon xp. +2400 class are only 70 bucks, and they are excellent perfomers. your hard isnt a big deal, it doesnt matter much, but you have to put aside a little more than a gig of memmory for halo files and things of that sort.
for ram get at least your memmory to 512 mb.
if you have these specs you will be ready to play hard!

i would say at least a 9600 pro. 9600 xt would be nice if your not too friendly with overclocking video cards. I have a 9600 xt, and it is awsome. it plays with all the features on, specular, shadow, and things of that nature, and at 1024x768 resolution and it is awsome.

ok, you need an upgrade on just about everything, try gt a 3000+ proccessor and at least 512mb ram, ya graphics card is fine though.

Holy COW, how can you say that video card needs upgrade? I play with a measly 32MB!

Up the RAM, and up the hard disk for your own good, in general....

Well if you can play with only 32MB then i assume it takes u awhile to join servers or u must lag alot.

As for the subject of this post:

Your PC is DECENT for running Halo PC, but ur video card could be better.

Anywaiis, good luck running the game

Dudes....
I have an amd 800MHZ
128 SD RAM
20GB
Geforce 4 mX 440 128MB
Halo may go slow often and bigger maps can be a pain and I also may be the last person to be able to move, but Halo actually runs pretty fine.
It doesn't really hamper my ability, I beat nearly all the people I play on server where I have good ping.

That reminds me, I'm about to get Halo for the PC so I can play online (already have Halo for the Xbox) but, I'm not sure if my computer can handle it.

Specs:

AMD Athalon (TM) XP 1800+
1.5 GHz ~ I think this is the processor...or something...

512 MB of RAM
Geforce4-MX440
19.5 GB on the 'C' drive.

It can handle it, all the specs are higher than mine apart from the Geforce 4 mx 440, which is the card I have and Halo works on my PC.
