I've been playing Halo since the beginning. I am a veteran of Halo MP on the PC. So the fact that this is my first post here ever should merit some attention from Bungie and M$.

For about a week now, the Bungie servers have been experiencing INCREDIBLE lag. For awhile, the Bungie servers did not even report a ping. Literally, playing Halo on Bungie servers has become next to impossible.

Before you all jump on me and say something like there has always been lag, let me assure you this is very different. Some have told me that cheaters have been "hitting the print screen button" to create lag. I tried this myself, and unfortunately it does work. I am unaware if this is the cause of the recent Bungie server mess, but it needs to be fixed.

I realize Bungie is focused on other projects, and Halo for the PC just isn't that important, but let me tell you Bungie, you have been pissing off your loyal customers for quite some time now. As a seriously experienced Halo player, I feel let down by Bungie and Micro$. PLEASE FIX THE LAG OR TAKE THE SERVERS OFF LINE FOR GOOD. IF YOU DON"T CARE ABOUT YOUR GAME, WHY SHOULD WE?

I suppose if we filled the forum with nothing but complaints about the current Bungie server issue, someone might notice. It isn't so much a lag problem, but a warping issue and then leads most to believe it has something to do with their internet connection. (With the connection sign on the bottom right and all.)

BUT.....we all have the same symptoms. How can they not know they are having problems with their own server's? (suppose its not worthy enough to be on their to do list.)

Hopefully something is done soon so we can get back to the old Bungie.

I'm a 'want to be' technition, and so it occurs that it may infact not be Bungie, rather your own machine. Consider first removing all temporary files and any other un wanted files. If you are still among the few who are using dile up, then you may want to get a faster conection (is broad band the best that they can do?)
