Subject: Well I just bought it.

I'm about what, 9, 10 years late to the party? But anyway, I just bought the CE GoD on the marketplace, because I loved Halo 3 and I love Reach. I wanted to go on and see the whole story myself, instead of reading what others think. But anyway, who thinks I will enjoy it? (It's downloading and I can't wait, trying to find a way to pass time.)

If you can acclimate to the style, definitely.

The main hitch you'll have is that it runs like crap on the 360 thanks to poor emulation; color balance is weird (too dark and rather oversaturated), framerate drops more often and less conveniently, some effects don't display right, and the controller rumble wasn't recalibrated for the 360 controller so it feels a tad sluggish and overkill. At least that happens when I use my disk.

Whatever, still an awesome game even on the 360, and I suppose on the 360 you have the benefit of it outputting in 480p instead of 480i, since interlaced video suffers from moderate combing on the "game mode"s of many TV's; kind of makes me wish I still had an old CRT.

Wow, the Reach ending couldn't have been half as good without playing Halo 1.

Well I beat the game on easy just for a once over, and it DID amplify the ending of Reach by about OVER 9000! :)

I did notice some of those, but I got over it. I simply loved it.

Seeing as the game is a bit older, the graphics suited my needs. They weren't a drag.

Nice triple post.

Go back to 343 Guilty Spark. Go down the first elevator, then back up. Take a look around outside, and along the path back to the crashed Pelican.

Did you find the Siege of Madrigal yet?
