1) ~750MB
2) It's not a mod.
3) No and no.

Please insert a legit copy of Halo PC for detailed answers.

I disapprove of your piracy.

You know you can buy Halo:CE for the PC for about $20 now, right?

Here's the situation: A friend has a... let's just say "copy" of CE on a pin drive, and he's leting me download it to a laptop. here are my question:

How big is the whole game?
Will the Custom Edition mod work on it?
can you get matches on it similer to MM, or is it LAN only?

If you join a server and someone else is using the same key you will be disconnected. Second piracy is illegal. Third that was a dumb move coming to it's creators forum for answers about illegal copies.
Reported for asking about illegal means to the game.

My Halo takes up 1333 MB From what I can remember. That may have been CE though

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

If you try to pirate it, then:
1. Your key will be rejected if you try to join a server with the key in use.
2. If you have a pirated key, you connection attempt might get rejected from the server.
3. If you have a pirated copy, and someone else was hacking/tking with the same key, your'e banned from that server.

I have seen all of those happen in my server logs. If you buy the game, you won't have any of those issues!

And if you have a real copy, you need to install it on the PC. You can't use a flash drive, as it will give you a invalid key error, either before the game would load, or when trying to play online.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

People, especially younger kids, pirate games out of sheer laziness more than anything. M$ would be wise to put Halo PC on Steam where it belongs, but that will probably never happen.

Yeah. That's right. I don't have a 50 in H3. I never got Onyx in Reach. If a game sucks too much, I won't even bother trying for such trivial "accolades". Besides, I've done way more things that take far more skill and talent than anything that can be done in a video game.

Eh, the way I see it, if the game doesn't get updated for over a year, the devs don't care, and you should feel free to pirate away.

But Halo PC has a caretaker, and he's doing a good job despite being only one guy. So buy the game. If you don't do it for Microsoft (who doesn't deserve your money anyway), then do it for Sawnose. :)
