No. It's not extreme. And I'm not just talking about the PC version. On both platforms, it's a horridly noobified game that narrowed the learning curve much so that the most retarded of gamers could feel like "zomg uber pwners" after a few hours of playing the game, which ended up setting the bar really low in the eyes of other developers which ended up spitting out crap game after crap game with the same built-in aimbots, bullet magnetism, oversized hitboxes. ect.
In short, Halo 2 was a terrible game that not only made the delusion of skill something to brag about, but also marred the FPS genre as a whole.
Now I'm all for casual gamers, but when you have systems in place where those casual gamers that would get slaughtered in any game that takes real skill are talking an insane amount of crap about how "good" they are at Halo 2, it crosses the line into absurdity. I get sick of reminding these idiots that they'd never hold their own without the noobifications that are ever so abundant in games like Halo 2.
In FPS games, skill should be rewarded, and a lack of skill should encourage players to get better. Game devs need to stop putting stuff in that brings about that delusion that they're good, despite blowing harder than a Category 5.
Lol that's funny, because you're one of the only people I've seen call Halo 2 a bad game. Considering how Halo 2 was viewed as the best of the series, you must think anything after Halo: CE was complete crap.
