The reason I post this here, is because it has more to do with halo 4, than halo reach. Therefore it has more to do with halo 3.

Feel free to vote in the poll, and reply with comments on my thoughts, and please provide your insight into what makes a halo game awesome.

There are many things that contribute to a good, fun, competetive game of halo, here's what I think needs to be in halo 4 for it to be near perfect. In my eyes, a halo game needs a good overall weapon, hit-scan, close to mid-long range weapon, a weapon that a skilled halo player would do very well with, while a non-skilled player would have difficulties. In my opinion a good halo game requires power weapons, that have power to do a hell of a lot of damage in the right hands, but can be countered if the opposition has enought skill, and timing. In my opinion halo needs powerful vehicles, that a smart player can take out. A halo game needs button combos, that only skilled people can master, sort of like the bxr, or bxb, or double shot in halo 2. Halo needs semi-destructable enviroments, that help influence more realistic gameplay. Halo shouldn't have anything to get in between good old skilled gameplay, no equipment, no armor abilities, no matter how interesting they make the game. There should always be the guardians in the map that, if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, you're screwed; for example the train on terminal, in halo 2. Halo needs good, well balanced maps. Bloom is not necessary, no matter how much more skill it brings in the game; it just doesn't need to be there. The campaign, doesn't need co-op but it is a good fun function so let it stay. The campaign needs a deep story-line where you get engulfed by the story, consumed by the gameplay, and awe struck by the cinematics. The campaign needs a good play time, no messing around with tiny insignificant things, it needs big missions that are impossible for any normal human to do, that's why you're a spartan. We should feel faster than a normal human, I say they should keep sprint, just as a default thing to do. Dual weilding should be brought back, and improved to the point, that people want to dual-wield, and make it so if you get in a vehicle you don't drop the second weapon, and you can switch weapons, and go back to the two weapons. Make it more possible for stealth in the game, it's impossible to never be found. The enemies in campaign need to be fun to fight, the elites are awesome, always have been, and always will be. But the brutes are still a little boring, just headshot them out the ass.

Basically I want halo 4 to be a lot more like halo 2. Please, reply, comment, vote, and have a nice day B.net

EDIT: Yup halo 3 forums are dead
