Animal Crossing was... just stupid.

Idk, I think telling some poorly pixelated guy wearing a red beanie cap to go get his mail from an alligator is kinda addicting. I can even take him to my friends house.

Edit * Im just kidding. My opinion doesnt matter cuz i've NEVER played Animal Crossing so i cant really comment.

I haven't played it too, but the Gamecube simply doesn't appeal to me. If I did buy one it would be for the redone version of MGS (MGS used to be my favorite game... I loved it so much : )... until MGS2 came out : (... I was not impressed. ).

My friends and enemies, we all share a liking for halo, and games nowaday, but nothing is like it was those many years ago...

Halo is an amazing game, and halo 2 could just be the best game of all time, but are there that many others? The golden age of video games started around the release of pokemon and Nintendo 64. Pokemon was and still is a great game, but it's days are over. Along with pokemon, was Nintendo 64. This system was the birth of the third dimention in gaming. The game that made it--- Super mario 64. Possibly the Best game of all time. Also, Play station was making it's way up, with the start of final fantasy games in 3D. Then, many other godly games came out. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Smash brothers, Crash Bandicoot. After that, there was too much. Gaming started to change. PS2 came out, and Gamecube, and also Xbox. But the veterans of super mario, and withnesses of the rise of video games were all growing out of Pokèmon and Kirby. The eirs of our video game love are not as inclined to play good games. In the age that had just passed, there was always a new video game to play which was good. But now, a good game only comes around once in a while. Also, companies have not been making games like they used to. Super Mario Sunshine? come on, make a game like the old ones. Good and classic.

Remember, Halo 2 may be the best game of all time, but the glory of video games has flourished. What i'm trying to say is, dont be to hung up on these new games. The classics are waiting for you. Mario is always ready to kill gombas, and your pokemon are always up for a good fight. Go back to your game boy and play a game. Dont talk about halo 2 24/7. If you are a FPS kinda guy, try playing Godleneye 007 again.

That WAS the golden age. Now it is a huge turning point in video games. The next golden age will start on Nov. 9(or aug 24).

Exactly... except I think it starts with Fable... as it is released first. But any way... I also agree with masterchief004 (no matter how overused his name might be... hehe...), the golden age has happened, and will happen again.

It got moved because it's not a Halo 2 topic -- but it was a good thread so the Benevolent Moderators didn't simply lock it --
BTW I found a laptop -- so I won't surge anything when the power goes -- I'll still lose the connection though.

This sometimes happens when they move a topic -- it sucks too .. Anyway for those that can still find the thread -- tha answer to the last POP quiz was:

The Atari 2600 had an 2 online game services, PlayCable, and an AT&T system that sold about 10 units. They were 300 baud. For you 56K users - that's 55.7 K better than the PlayCable.

The first stable online system for a console was the X-Band -- For the Super Nintendo and the Sega Genesis. This was a 9600 baud modem, and incorporated a credit card slot - so you could pay for the service right through your machine.

The animal crossing pattern maker is probably what halo 2's will look like.

That'd be pretty sweet -- You can make some detailed images in Animal crossing-- I still have my house wallpapered in Hillary Duff Photos.

It's still here!! Maybe I'm being a little too obscure with my trivia questions -- OK, here's an easy one - In 1983 Donkey Kong became Nintendo's 1st international arcade hit - Starring a big gorrilla and Mario.

For the question - What was Mario's original name?
