I was just thinking, if the engineer's are in Halo 3 ODST then why are they not in any of the later games?

He's talking about in the games BEFORE ODST and REACH. They aren't in Halo 1 2 or 3 but if you played ODST You'll see that they are very important in the story for the humans. The humans learn some stuff about the Covies battle plan from an engineer that they capture at the end of ODST. But he makes a good point, why aren't they featured in the earlier games at all? But I guess the same question can be asked for the Brutes. Why aren't they in Halo 1?

They were intended to be put in Combat Evolved but never made the cut. Modders have found files of the Engineers that were supposed to be in.

Think before you post

Well with the storyline it doesnt make much sense, you could just say that master chief just didnt happen to stumble onto any, but the real reason is that in odst they took out elites so they needed to make some new species to make battles more interesting, plus they wanted to test it out to see if itd work for reach, but i like the 1st reason better.
